But 64.2% say they're winning it by 20 points so there's still hope for them - CAF is always right!

Another toothless game from us. The defence is still top, but the attack is useless. Waiting for a moment of individual brilliance that never came. Mané and especially Salah offered next to nothing today. Why can't Shaqiri get some minutes ahead of a pointless Lallana?

We need some flow in our attack for the rest of the season if we want to challenge City.

Thought they might drop points against Everton. Rest of the month should be fine for them though. Southampton could potentially be a tricky one as they need the points in April. Would be hilarious if Chelsea do them again

Utd at home not been convincing since Ole took over

Indeed, we have looked rather shaky in our home games.

There's a lot of Liverpool fans on this site who are banking on United pulling off a result against City.

Yeah, no. It will never happen.

Far from over, this. Only 1pt in it and City are without Fernandinho and KDB. City will drop more points, I guarantee it - we just have to hope that the Scousers drop more. Could not handle the fallout of that lot winning the PL. City are City, I still don't see them as our true rivals.

It's not them not being rivals, it's the State funding that makes it moot.

Crystal Palace, Burnley and United away are probably City's toughest games on paper. Spurs and Leicester may trouble them at home but can't see them being unstuck.

Not really. We've been unfortunate at home with injuries. Literally every single game we've dropped point or lost at home we couldn't field our strongest team.

I thought we had a full squad against Burnley but opted for a squad players to rest our usual starters.

City will win it. gone from 10 behind to 1 clear in a few months. And just generally a better side, with a better manager.

It’s somewhat inevitable that they wouldn’t have been able to reach the heights of last season. It’s very difficult to repeat that rich vein of form they had last season. Teams adapt, analyse and change accordingly. Our 06/07 team was very attractive, then our 07/08 team was more disciplined but still decently attractive and then the 08/09 team was really conservative and efficient despite it being probably the best squad Utd have ever had.

They kinda miss Coutinho too. Even though this time last year they were like ‘Philippe Who’, it does seem to have caught up with them now.

2007/08 was far better IMO - Hargreaves available all season, Scholes and Giggs a year younger, Ronaldo in much better form and Berbatov seriously disrupted our attacking rhythm - Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez were insane in 2007/08

Oh yikes, we didn't win  Didn't expect that. Looks like I'll win my bet, at least

Thats it the league is over. City arent losing again
City know exactly how to win league titles, Liverpool have run out of steam.

No creativity in midfield and a manager that makes bizarre substitutions.

It will be closer than most Utd fans would like but City will win the league by a few points.

we've also got Laporte, & Ferna out for a few weeks, no idea on KDB, Mendy or Stones, we've more games to play and with a potential fixture pile up in April I wouldn't rule 'pool out just yet

I'd say we're favorites but only just marginally

Oh shut up.
Be a man and admit it, take a deep breath and say it.

Congratulations to Liverpool for winning the PL.

Always love when a pundit bangs on about a team not losing (ignoring draws). Carragher today re-iterating this side has only lost once.

They've dropped points two more times than City have. That's all that matters.

I keep hearing this "we have a few players out for a few weeks". It's not like City are playing Barcalona, Utd , Liverpool and PSG in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
You have Watford. Schalke. Swansea. International break . Fulham . Cardiff.
That's over 5 weeks.
So feckin relax. All those players will be back for when it really matters!

"We have only lost once"
"We have kept 5 clean sheets in a row"
"We have the best defensive record in the league"
Yes, but you have just blown a 7 point lead you thick feckers!:lol::lol:

still all to play for

you can't really tell with the fixtures now, some head for the beach & some don't

Well yeah but w/o Herrera to complete our midfield, his absence was felt and as it turned out our midfield is the most important part in the way the team has been functional.

It actually just dawned on me that they've had significantly more rest than City. Even went on 1 or 2 of those "training trips". Didn't do shit for them. So much for exiting the cups early to remain "fresh".

Robertson saying the pressure is off now they’re the chasers. The state of their mentality.

Well they have played a significant proportion of difficult matches and have literally only lost one match, City away. Maybe it's not been that beneficial but perhaps the main reason they are still able to compete still with City with a much weaker squad.

I really wish we could have beaten them. As things stand I don't want to massively help Liverpool when we play City.

They’ve taken 16 points out of 27 in 2019. “Easy fixtures” or not they aren’t winning the league.

Could nearly see Burnley get a result against them next weekend. They look like a team who don't have the fight or desire to win, unlike City or Wenger's Arsenal, Mourinho Chelsea's, Fergie's Utd.

Don't City play like 4 times before Liverpool play in the next month? So pressure will be even bigger If City keep winning

According to Flopp, a character called Mr Wind was the difference between the two sides today.

these MotD highlights seemed to show that Everton were a bit fortunate

is that fair?
