Same as they've been all season but actually getting the results to match.

What is funniest is the deterioration of Salah recently from the best player in the league to the Egyptian Pennant.

Bingo. Luckiest first half of the season ever. They'd be 6 points behind if they didn't get the rub of the green they did.

So annoyed we had so many injuries in our game against them. They're a lot more beatable recently.

VVD is so damn good though. Would be amazing to have him partnered with Lindelof.

He's being super selfish. Something isn't quite right in terms of harmony with the front 3. Last year it looked fluid, but now it seems it's quite lumpy. We also do not have a creative midfielder that can unlock defenses. Gini and Jordon just do not do enough in away matches.

I get a feeling that the derby was our title hopes gone. It is City's to lose now...

They can still win it but it'll be interesting to see how they do over the next 3 game stretch being behind after leading for so long.

Still can't believe they went from a potential 8 point lead to 1 point behind. What a swing!

So much for "how do they watch this rubbish their team is serving week in week out", isn't it? They are utter garbage when it mattered the most so far. Granted the game would have looked different if they'd taken their chances, their general play was awful and matched Everton levels of hoofball.

Not just selfish, he's just fallen apart as a footballer.

Can't control a ball and can't even make simple passes. His movement is still very good but my god he's killing every attack, that terrible decision when you broke late on epitomised his performances.

Two key matches against United and Everton and he's put in a 2/10 performance in each game. Rightly substituted in the former.

Gonna be hard to shift City now their noses in front. City at OT gonna be interesting....

Still need them to drop points one more time before I think City are favourites. Reckon we'll get something out of the manchester derby while all of Liverpools difficult games are at Anfield now. Long way to go still anyway.

A very good weekend for United fans. :D

But the League is far from over.

Unless you pick up form, it really is over. You look completely out of ideas against half decent opposition.
You think I am a Liverpool fan?

That's the greatest insult I've ever got on here.

But about title races I've seen enough in my time to know that they are still plenty of games to go. I remember us throwing away the title after being 8 points clear with 5 games to go.

To be fair he's never done anything against Utd, even last season when he scored a billion goals he was marked out the game by Ashley fecking Young.

I agree with you though

They have a couple of easy games coming against Burnley and Fulham because they host Tottenham. Their final four games of season are really favorable too (Cardiff and Newcastle away, Huddersfield and Wolves at home). The three in-between against Tottenham and Chelsea at home and at Southampton will decide their season. I think they are still firm favourites.

Has any team not won the league having only lost 1 game all season. Today's game may have been the most difficult left. They have Chelsea & Spurs to come but these are at home. The fallout will be huge if they don't go on to win it.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I don't know if it's nerves, lack of confidence, or just selfishness. Something is not clicking and it's costing us points.
The final third is toothless right now...

Easy games like Leicester and Westham. :)

It’s somewhat inevitable that they wouldn’t have been able to reach the heights of last season. It’s very difficult to repeat that rich vein of form they had last season. Teams adapt, analyse and change accordingly. Our 06/07 team was very attractive, then our 07/08 team was more disciplined but still decently attractive and then the 08/09 team was really conservative and efficient despite it being probably the best squad Utd have ever had.

They kinda miss Coutinho too. Even though this time last year they were like ‘Philippe Who’, it does seem to have caught up with them now.
