Nice easy game for them on Saturday to get back to wining ways and bang in a few goals. Eddie's open attacking football is just what Klopp needs.
Eddie Howe just doesn't know any other way.

Agree with this, I love Bournemouth, and I love watching them play. But I feel more confident playing against them than for example Crystal Palace, but I would back Bournemouth to finish ahead of Palace and beat them when they play each other.

What I find funny is that most United fans here (me included) are so against Liverpool winning the title that they’ll take Man City winning in a heartbeat

What's the point of Keita then?

This is bloody great. I still have a feeling that City will feck it up and get loopy results just when they need really step up the pressure (like Everton mid week). But damn, it's on now, and I didn't expect it.

I’m not entirely sure, but I think the idea is that he is supposed to be the midfielder with drive, meaning one that’s capable of running past a man with the ball. We saw glimpses of it yesterday in the second half. But, even if he succeeds, we are still far too dependant on the front trio to work their magic when we want to score. Just look at City with De Bruyne and Silva feeding the attackers from midfield.

Seven soon became three, and in the space of just two weeks Klopp has become all flustered and turned into Mr angry.

I can’t wait for the scousers to fall at OT, Klopp will be in total meltdown, Ole smiling and laughing, Sallah limping off at half time having failed to win a penalty and that smug twat Pep sending out for some more silver polish.
And that’s why I still love football.

I actually think they'll win at OT, all the years they've seriously challenged for the league they've won at OT

01/02 0-1
08/09 1-4
13/14 0-3

Obviously hope I'm wrong

Liverpool are having their blip, like City and Spurs have had.

As long as we don't lose, we should be fine.

Listening to Talksport this morning and they're talking about how nerves might be getting to them. I don't see it like that. They look exactly the same as earlier in the season, just slightly less jammy (and I mean only slightly, as they're still getting what seems like more than their fair share of dodgy decisions) and actually having an injury or two.

A loss to Leicester and a win at Westham would have be better than drawing those two games.

City are a hollow shell of a club, a nonentity. Any and all success gained whilst under the influence of the inhuman scum who run their club is immediately discredited and largely ignored. The same cannot be said for Liverpool, however.

City are simply the lesser of two evils.

I know pool see themselves as victims even when defending a racist but the refs did everything to give them 3 points last night except for putting the ball into the net and they're still complaining.:lol:

Tbh I'm still worried. Liverpool have had so much go their way this season, it's hard to believe. Last night with the off-side goal and almost an off-side winner for Origi last kick off the game, just adds to the list. Sometimes it's just written in the stars they're meant to win it. City will have a huge fixture pile up in April as well.

Liverpool have the perfect opponent at home next in Bournemouth, then a two-week break where Klopp can reboot and get some injured players back.

Just seen they are 2.1 to win the league. Easy money for anybody interested.

They're not winning at OT, a draw will be the best they can hope for. Ole and the players will see to that.

The last two results have justified why I have kept silent about Liverpool winning the league this season. We had a brilliant first half of the season, but that was always going to be near impossible to replicate, and we were always going to drop points.

Now we are getting to the business end of the season, with CL football thrown in (and FA Cup for City). Fixtures rearranged, midweek games, injuries, pressure. All of these will play a huge part in who wins the title. It's such a crazy race. A few weeks ago we could have been 10 points clear, now if City win Wednesday they are top! Spurs looked dead and buried, yet now I think if they can keep within 4 or 5 points of whoever is top before they get Kane back, they will have a great chance as well.

It's very disappointing to see our lead at the top dissolve over the last couple of games, however any Liverpool fan would have taken top of the league after 25 games before the season started so it's best not to be too down about it. We still have a great chance, and City/Spurs will drop more points. Hopefully we can bounce back with a win against Bournemouth, and then it's the big one at OT.

Anyway, this is Liverpool and I am ready for the pain in May

We’re crying out for some creativity from the midfield. The front three have to do it all by themselves, leaving us stale and predictable, this game being a prime example. Klopp’s got some work to do.

Nothing has changed the past couple of years then.

Liverpool's tactic is basically have 3 work horses in midfield and hope the front three punish the opposition. It's Plan A without a Plan B.

The first half of the season was incredible but will not be replicated. We needed to capitalise when we could - and we had two chances vs Man City and Leicester to open up a sizeable gap, which we missed.

It's now a shootout from now until the end of the season and Man City have a squad which is far more suited to putting teams to the sword weekly.

For what it's worth, I think Henderson is underrated. He's not a world beater but he's not as terrible as many make him out to be.

I've been banging this drum for a while. He's not the most gifted footballer but he adds stability. Work rate, knows the league inside out and doesn't give the ball away. His safety first approach can be frustrating but in games like last night is valuable. Similar points apply with Wijnaldum.

Well that and the fact you weren't a member until Thursday

I meant in my actual life, not on these boards...

Have mates that are United and Spurs fans, and mates that just want to laugh at me like they do most seasons! My dad and my brother in law also support United, and so does half my soccer team. So, I have learned to just say nothing until we actually win something!

Exactly how i see it. Just take Mane & Salah out of the game and you are golden as their midfield is so inept going forward. Their midfield poses 0 threat to oppositions defense as they can't take anyone 1 on 1, fail to make key passes and never shoot from the distance(don't even have the ability). I see this going down the hill really fast for Liverpool as i don't see them scoring over 1 a game and they are very vulnerable at the back. Only guy, who looked like a Premier League footballer last night was Mane, who wasn't supported by others though.

Yeah that’s it.

We’ve played 7 of our 10 vs the other top six sides.

We’ve beaten Spurs 2-1 away, United 3-1 at home & Arsenal 5-1 at home.
We drew 1-1 with Arsenal & Chelsea away, and also drew 0-0 with City at home.
Our defeat was 2-1 away to City.

So 12 from a possible 21 so far.

Against the rest of the league we’ve dropped four points.

So your away record against the big boys is poor. And away in the CL this season right?

Old Trafford is such a big game.

Yeah true. Our last two games are evidence of that.

We play Wolves at home on the last day which doesn’t look easy.
I'd take that as a final fixture when fighting for the league title. Could be a lot, lot worse.

Well, Spurs are only five points behind so...

oh who am I kidding, they won't be anywhere near at the end

Why is this surprising? Majority of United fans see Pool as their most hated rival. City are just some small time Arab plaything. Them winning the league is a none story.

That and the small matter of the respective title counts. Not like Spurs are going to win it anyway.

Imagine the scenes if we beat them in a couple weeks. Can't stand Klopp and his constant chest pumping.

I don’t know, I think playing Wolves during the season would be much more of an issue than last day of the season - they will have absolutely nothing to play for and probably be in holiday-mode by then. I can see them being like QPR in 2012 once they knew they were safe and let the home team have their moment.

Why do fans think that 2 week breaks or 10 days in Dubai will resolve everything. This is the time you want momentum and get confidence by playing well. If you some how don't win on Saturday.......it will be a long 2 weeks!

Which will make it all the more pleasureable and funny when they fail. I really am confident that City will win the league.

Wolves don't have nothing to play for now to be honest.

If a top 6 team wins the FA Cup, there's going to be a Europa League spot for 7th in the league. Wolves are 7th right now so if they get a challenger, they might be fighting for Europe on the final day of the season.

Because rest and recovery are important at this level.

Hope I'm wrong but think they will still do it. They've had loads of luck and City don't seem anywhere near last seasons level.

I'd take a very good performance against City only to be beaten by a dubious offside goal meaning we lose but still build up a bit of confidence and shit on Liverpool, ta.

Also what is that stat going around about Allison? I assume it's speaking about one on one attempts that he's conceded in comparison to other keepers?

If a loss vs City meant Liverpool losing the title I would aswell.

It would be very very Everton to beat City and then meekly roll over for Liverpool.

Please, please don't do that.

Not too sure that's what they want if you look at how Burnley fared in the beginning of the season - they had to be ready for Europe in the middle of July.

A European competion will always be a special occassion though and Wolves don't get a chance like that very often.

Ah, that’s one of those stats that is loosely relevant. Not particularly what you want from your keeper but also overlooks things like Pickford for us who has dropped clanger after clanger.

I reckon we will get shat on in both tbh.
