Not too sure that's what they want if you look at how Burnley fared in the beginning of the season - they had to be ready for Europe in the middle of July.

A European competion will always be a special occassion though and Wolves don't get a chance like that very often.

You’d think with the type of team Wolves have though they’d be much more set up for European football than Burnley. The investment would be there aswell to improve this squad further, they can turn into a dangerous side.

I have never been so sure we will beat these lot. There’s no way we allow these cnuts to leave OT with any points.

Yeah fair point, and I'd like to see them in the EL as well.

I've seen a few posts like this. Given our recent form it's not an unreasonable thing to say I suppose, but you've not turned into an unstoppable force all of a sudden.

There's not much separating the two sides currently imo.

Remember when City beat us at the Eithad and won the league?

Your lot will have to play the best game they've played all season to get anything out of that one.

You can never be certain, there's still a lot of flaws in this Utd side and Liverpool are very very difficult to beat as this season has proved.

Reasons to be confident are our record against Liverpool at Old Trafford, Liverpool are wobbling right now, and you can be sure Ole will be absolutely desperate to dent their title challenge. OT will be rocking that afternoon.

I'd take a draw if you manage to get something from City as well.

We're reaching the stage now though where we can't afford any more mistakes.

See how Bournemouth stunk up the place at fecking Cardiff of all places, do not be surprised to see them come to Anfield and play like 80s Milan. I'm not even thinking about that United game... that's how worried I am about our perfomances. Everton need to do something tommorow.

Liverpool 2018/2019: They Dared To Dream.... Again.

It’s all on us now to beat them and eliminate that gap. Hopefully Chelsea and Arsenal both feck up during the next few weeks so we can afford to tank the game vs City, hard as it is to swallow.
I'd rather we beat City and let Spurs in to win the title, they're only rwo points further back with head-to-heads against both... Who am I kidding, it's City's to lose, ffs.

Is it somehow possible to add additional options in the voting? Like "finish second", finish third" or "finish outside the top 4"?

It’s funny because I thought the opposite. For me, City was the better team and that’s why I wasn’t as heartbroken as the majority of the United fans. In my mind, the better team has one the title and I had peace. I have never seen Aguero’s goal, mind you. Hope I never will.

As for the 6-1, I think it was something like 2-1 with 20 to go and we were pressing for the equaliser. Then someone got sent off and it was the perfect storm for them where everything was going in. The game was far more balanced than the result suggested though.
I actually think the opposite Untied I felt were more consistent thru the season and especially in the beginning were running team over and then in the middle gridded out results like the seasoned veterans they were which culminated to a 8 point lead. Then as we all know they simply dropped the ball big time in a freak occurrence because 9x out of 10 that United team with a 8 point lead you can stamp the name on the trophy.

The league is their’s, there is no way they bottle it now.

They have the best fans, the best manager, the best players and best new stand in a stadium ever.

They will never walk alone, THIS is their year.

This better be a jinx.:nono::wenger:

Hope we're the ones to do them in, they were the final nail in Mourinho's coffin which potentially saved our season so we can return the favour by costing them the title.

This was a game to boost your goal difference a few weeks ago. Now your nervous about the game. Wait until the last 6 games

If United were the reason Pool dont win the league that would be almost as funny as the Gerrard slip. Liverpool fans would never hear the end of it and I love it.

Everton are going to take points off City I feel. They'll want to reach after Wolves.

United beating liverpool and losing against City would make them implode.

Squeaky bum time doesn’t start in February. This isn’t even their final bottling form.

I hope it’s the last time I say this (definitely the first) but I don’t mind losing to City. I just don’t want to live in a world where Jurgen Klopp is a Premier League winning manager.

Everytime we come back from these warm weather trainings we look completely off the pace. Let them train in fecking Greenland for a change

That goes without saying.

The Bournemouth game is a biggie for them now . Anything but a win and the pressure will be on . They look very nervy to me and don`t seem to know what to do when they go ahead whereas City just keep going , never a thought of shutting up shop . Looking forward to the game in Old Trafford more than ever now .

To be fair, we were only ahead for 6 minutes last night. It's a worrying period of form for us but one that can be stopped at home to Bournemouth

Thought you looked nervy against Leicester too after the early Mane goal where earlier in the season you would have pushed a bit more to kill them off .

Especially after Shaqiri gloated over causing Mourinho to be sacked. Would be hilarious if we halted them in their tracks primarily due to Ole coming in and improving us.

I will say this though IF they do not win this weekend the wheels are falling right off.

Everyone CALM DOWN you feckers are going to reverse jinx this shet...if that is even possible .

It's not that I think we're a better side than you (we're not), but our players and fans will be hyped up to stop your lot from winning the league, and given our recent form there's a belief that we can beat you. Your lot have everything to lose and will definitely be the shakier of the teams coming into that match. Having said that I hope we trash City too, so I'm confused.

I think if you beat us and lose to City you'll be delighted.

We'll always be your biggest rivals.

April 26, 1992.

If you remember the Scousers celebrating that day at Anfield like they had just won their 19th title, rather than denying us our 8th after a gap of 25 years, you, like me, will be hoping we give the feckers a jolly good spanking on February 24th.

Please, O great gods of Football, let it be so.

You wonder how these little pieces of luck v west ham (should have lost) and Everton (Pickford ) amongst others (salah diving ) will count for much at the end of the season.
