Even Chelsea struggled a bit there, right?United (under Mourinho) and Arsenal shouldn't be the barometer's if somewhere is difficult too go

Wolves have been quite unpredictable this season when it comes to results. Beat Chelsea, Spurs (a) and took points off of us and city while losing to Cardiff and Huddersfield (latter at home I might add). Not to mention you guys winning and losing in the same fixture in a space of few weeks. They lost, and City drew.
I was very surprised we won that "easily" at Molineux.
You mean the season before. Our January last year wasn't that bad from what I remember.Imagine if they had a January like last season.

So our next five league games are:
Brighton (a), Palace (h), Leicester (h), West Ham (a) & Bournemouth (h).
I think we have to win all of those if we want to have a shot at winning the league. After that we have Bayern at home a few days before a trip to Old Trafford (where we never do well) and a Merseyside Derby away at Everton.
I think we need City to lose another game somewhere too along the way. I wouldn't say it's beyond the realms of possibility that they go on some ridiculous winning run between now and May, so we can't really afford many mistakes.

City's next 5 league games (with cup games included): (League Cup v Burton H), Wolves H, Huddersfield A, (League Cup v Burton A), (FA Cup v Burnley H), Newcastle A, Arsenal H, Chelsea H
Liverpool have a major advantage here, ugh.
Last season was better, but you still conspired to lose at home to Swansea and get knocked out of the FA Cup by West Brom. Fail to win on Saturday and I'd be getting twitchy.
We were talking about Brighton away not Wolves![]()
We lost away to Swansea. We also beat City 4-3 and beat Everton so it wasn't a terrible month.Your new year form under Klopp hasn't ever been rip-roaring.

Hear they've been playing some entertaining football this season but I haven't watched their games so that part I can't tell you for sure.

Brighton (a), Palace (h), Leicester (h), West Ham (a) & Bournemouth (h).

Of course clubs like Spurs and Liverpool will justify their losers mentality. What's the point of adding 'depth' when your second team can't do shit in so called b grade tournaments?
I have never seen other big clubs of England doing it - Utd, Chelsea or City? They play to win it all.
That was my point. Liverpool spent so much this year for depth but still managed to put out excuses about 'prioritzing the league'. Spurs don't have any depth atm so can't really comment on that but it really feels weird that clubs who haven't had a taste of victory for some time now just disregard a genuine chance of winning silverware.Uhm, all teams do heavily rotate in the first rounds of the FA cup and league cup until they suddenly are in the quarters/semi, and usually even then. Don't tell me you haven't seen Fergie do the same, because I remember teams he put out that had no right to win football matches (yet they usually did). I also remember squad players trusted in the cup final such as Saha instead of Van Niestelroy We can't just be result oriented in our analysis, every top 6 teams heavily rotate, and did so again this year, and if United had met Wolves are you sure Ole would have picked differently?
One defeat plus one draw from being relegated into second position with 17 matches remaining in the season.
What a disgraceful thread title!
I meant Chelsea away to Brighton. I remember them struggling, but still winning in the end. They lost, and City drew.
I was very surprised we won that "easily" at Molineux.
Unless you're Chelsea.Winning the Europa league gives you CL qualification
That and top 4 are interchangeable, and we had to win the same amount of matches for both. Focusing on both makes no sense because they have the same outcome.
The FA cup and League are not interchangeable, binning the FA cup in January does not give you an edge in the league. It's 6 bloody games, where you'll face at most 2 top teams.
Have to admit, the standard of wining the league is so high now. Dropping 5 or 6 points in last 17 games could cost either side the title. So our next five league games are:
Brighton (a), Palace (h), Leicester (h), West Ham (a) & Bournemouth (h).

Liverpool are the 2018/19 English Premier League champions.
What part of the above are you struggling to comprehend?
Everything.
Affixing the word "Champions" with the team that last won it two years before Mo Salah was born, merely because it led (leads) the table at the turn of the year, is pretty darn daft.
You do realise that someone on here is collecting all these for the meltdown (which may have already started).Liverpool are the 2018/19 English Premier League champions.
You need to process and accept this undeniable fact lest it consumes you, my friend.

Just sayin'
Quite a few to be fair mateOkay.
Is there anyone else who simply does not 'get' the thread title?
I was kidding.Or United.
It's a conspiracy you know.
There's probably quite a few as there is nothing to "get". Much like your post it's a statement not a joke,Okay.

At least you could tell my comment was tongue in cheek by the use of the white text
I was kidding.
I don't know about you though. Hard to know where your allegiances lie.
I assumed it was 'whiners'.Okay. Is there anyone else who simply does not 'get' the thread title?
