Anyone who wanted Arsenal to beat Liverpool today is a disgrace to Man Utd.

We have top 4 to play for, and I couldn’t care less who wins the league if it’s not United.

Arsenal are above us in 5th, this is a big chance for us to catch up to one of our rivals, and while some may have written our season off, I believe our season is starting right now, and after Arsenal fail, we can concentrate on destroying Chelsea.

Like Ole said, we’ve made up more points in the past.

But what's completely disgusting is that someone even said they’d rather United finish 5th than have Pool win the league, and to me, that’s absolutely insane, why wish worse on United just so they don’t win, it’s bizarre.

We are Man United, why would you want the team you support not to do well?

Who cares about anyone else, be pro-United not Anti-Liverpool.

I hope Liverpool smashes Chelsea next, so it gives us an advantage, and anyone who really gives a shit about what Liverpool will do are stuck in the 80’s.
I don't know mate, we could finish out the top 4 and still win the CL for an automatic place next year...yeah that's a good scenario, Liverpool capitulate and slip up again while we win our 4th CL.

Magic

lovely stuff from great men all round.

 I hate that I don't dislike any of the Liverpool posters on here atm, please become insufferable around March so we can ban you all during the gloating period.

Nothing is decided yet. City will likely win tomorrow and have the tools to beat us next Thursday. If they do that, it'll be 4 points in it. Losing one game can have a knock and it's been seen before that teams can struggle to pick results back up again. In 2009, you lot were flying, lost to us and then lost to Fulham the following week. You still went on to win the title but it became a lot closer than it should have.

I’m still refusing to believe they will win it. Citeh will find their form again and ’Pool will be under pressure, cringe, crumble.

You can all say what you want. Can disagree, insult me etc. I really don't care!

Bottom line is, if they win the league, I will never forgive Mourinho, the players or the club for allowing this to happen!

If they win the league and I see some stupid dance on Instagram from a United player, I will absolutely lose my shit!

F**k right off!

The only, extremely small plus about it would be that City and their filthy money don't win it but, that plus is so small, you can't even see it right now

Shit how much you hit the nail on the head... And to rub it in this is genuine team asembled with their money not some oil or mafia money. Its really hard not to applaud this lot.

I'm 35 lads so for my generation, like many of you, it's going to be a gut wrenching one. Literally, stomach wreching but f**ck it, we'll bounce back.

Shoulderblades tight, chest puffed out. Easier said that done but don't let it get to you too much. Remember, Leicester City and even Blackburn won the premier league title before they did.

They're a horrible breed of fan, I mean that. Most are scumbags so remember, no matter what, we're in a different class to them. We will bounce back and when we do win the league next time, let's enjoy every drop!

Keep your dignity, we're in it together.

This is like that bit where Thanos is walking through the Avengers on the way to getting the stone from Vision. I'm as peeved at Mahrez missing that penalty at Anfield as I am at StarLord for breaking Mantis' hold of Thanos.

3 January the gap between MC and Liverpool gonna be 4 points. I still think that City will take the league, I see them as a more dominant team. They were unlucky with injuries and in the games where they lost points.

Got to say, we need to start the game much better on Thursday than we did today.

City will come at us like feck for an early goal.

Felt slightly for arsenal with their injuries but they shouldn't have played the way they did tbh with what they had today. Game was over at 1-1.

Im pretty sure we went easy on them for the last 20 minutes. Which is fecking annoying as I had a 5er on 6-2.

How is it Mourinho and the player's fault? They can only ever focus on themselves. It's the club's fault for making us an undesirable place to join for Klopp/Pep etc., for fecking up multiple managerial appointments, being one of the last top clubs to employ football directors etc. Liverpool did things right and took their time. We were too busy seeking instant success, without providing any of our managers with the platform to achieve that success (regardless of if they were good enough or not).

Regardless, all we can do now is focus on ourselves, it's done.

You can really feel the sexual tension surrounding their group of players.

Shower time must be quite the event.

I'm new here but isn't that kind of post a bit off?
When,as someone who obviously dislikes liverpool players, you equate their on field celebration with homosexuality, it gives the impression that in your opinion that sexuality would somehow make them lesser people.

Liverpool have won the league.

I think they’ll beat city as well. City need to win the game so will be out to all attack, perfect for Liverpool’s counter attack.

I’m just gonna have to move somewhere where there is no tv or social media next summer

I strongly believe luck does play a small part in win the league, and seem like Liverpool has all the luck this season.
Bad news, 1/3 match against ManCity, I just came across a news that said Kevin De Bruyne probably miss the match against Liverpool, he was complaining about soreness in his knee after the Leicester match, so if his knee won't get better, chances he will miss out.
Gundogan also out.
Fernandinho not sure if can be return.

Ugh.. basically I can see a lost in ManCity already, and I support MCity, ofcourse I don't want Liverpool to win, pffff!

But good luck Liverpool, may the best team win. You deserve the title after 28 years super long wait.

The score line today doesn’t tell the whole story. We deserved to win of course but it was more about Arsenal’s injuries, poor defending and a couple of softish pens than us playing great. We were quite sloppy at times, especially Fabinho in the first half and we gave the balk away cheaply. On another day, a decent team would have made us pay for it.

It was more like a performance from last season than from this one. For the first time in a long time I felt edgy every time the opposition had the ball anywhere near our box. Probably a few tired minds as well as legs as the Xmas period takes its toll. Hopefully we recover well and can restore a bit more composure to our play against City.

Jake Humphrey was doing my head in afterwards with his building up of our position. It’s great to be top but it’s not even January and there are still 18 games to go. If history shows us anything it’s that most teams leading the league at this stage have at least one blip in them and sometimes that blip becomes so bad that a team below goes on to win it. I’m hopeful Klopp can keep the squad grounded and ensure that when we do hit a bumpy patch we bounce back quickly.

It doesn’t help when virtually every oppo fan, in some type of massive global concerted jinx effort, concedes the title. I suppose it does show how far we’ve come and how much we’re hated which is strangely comforting.

I think as a team they'd be a lot more likeable if it wasn't for their fans.

All I can think is that if they win the league what kind of cringy stuff they'll pull. Building a Cristo Redentor with Klopps face on?

That being said, Klopp then comes out with the mawkish 'I was going to cry' line

They need to be this far ahead in march to consider being champions, too far to go yet. But they do look likely at the minute.

That's all very interesting but it is, in fact, you who associates homosexuality with negative connotations. My post above implies no such thing, quite the opposite actually.

Had I suggested that the same group of players were about to get their freak on with the entire Swedish women's netball team, what would your response have been?

Most of times at any top league best top teams( historical wise ) fight for the title each season , but we just can't accept they might win it this year because they did not win the P.L before though. The main target now is to get up and get back to challenge them next year. Just accept it people it's going to happen, unless....

Talking about being cocky..

No Christmas slump for Liverpool this year. At this rate they could even afford a loss to City, and I certainly didn't expect that.
