As long as we're still ahead on the Noodle sponsorship count I'm not really concerned wether they win a "Premier League" trophy or not.

Sadly can’t see them slipping up this time, different squad with a different mentality........bin dipping cnuts

Oh come on grow up...

Yes, Liverpool are our greatest rivals but for me it's no difference which of our rivals wins something. All I really care about is what happens at United and that is what we should start doing again - look at ourselves first and not laughing about the bloopers of other while we have been failing constantly for the last 5 years!

If all you care about is what happens at UTD then why are you making comments about hoping Liverpool win the league?

that is essentially the problem with the lead being 7pts - it's only 1 result away from being 10pts, which ain't never coming back

like you say, City HAVE to win games now, including that one

It's a big ask for them to slip straight back into top form, although by all accounts in their losses they were absolutely pulverising the opposition late on.

IF, they could get it back to 4 points, you never know, as we play both at Old Trafford later on in the season. And we all know that what seem easy games on paper can become anything but later on.
Throw in them actually getting a gamechanging injury, a Salah, Mane or Van Dyke, and you never know. City have had appalling luck with injuries to best players this year. Liverpool have got away with it being more replaceable players like Gomez.

Robbo could've been sent off for that, would've been huge miss for them on Thursday.

Now Klopp subs him. Everything is going for Liverpool atm.

Maybe "hoping" was a bit too much but as I said I take Klopp over Pep all day

For as long as he’s in charge at anfield he should be your number one enemy in life. But he’s not, he’s your hero because you’re a Liverpool fan.

I want all your players to contract a case of the runs and all need the bathroom at the same time, the payh to which is scattered with upturned plugs that blend into the ground so it’s difficult to see them.
Plugs? You bastard. Mind you, at least you didn't say lego.

I’d rather a giant sinkhole opened up in Klopps face and his entire squad were sucked into it before Klopp went pop
Grim.

Well at least we have plenty of time to plan for the dreaded day when they win the league. Then again if they don’t win it from here it’ll be fecking hilarious.

Well now them winning the league is pretty much gonna happen we should probably start worrying about them winning the Champions League. They narrowly lost it last year and are miles better this season.

I was thinking the other day how I hate this Liverpool team less than the 2014 team as it's best players Salah, Van Dijk etc. are bearable as footballing personalities and Klopp seems to have toned down his antics this year but thinking about it more there are still plenty in there to dislike eg. Shaqiri, Firmino. Not looking forward to seeing them gurning with the trophy.

and the fans, dear god the fans.

Not writing City off as I think they have just as much but are just in a tricky patch, which Liverpool will face at some point.

But if they put 8 past Arsenal that sends a huge statement out like we did back in the day - I'd both love it if they did and the idea sends a shiver down my spine. Now I know what other fans must have felt like when we did it back in the day

Liverpool fans will get banned if they win it, right?

At least Gerrard won't be getting a medal. 2014 would have been much worse than 2019.

They surely can’t keep this ridiculous energy up all season. We just just have to hope City won’t be too far behind when they run out, which they will.

Super stuff again from them. Klopp completely changed how they played for the better this season. No stupid shit 2 full backs in opposition box at the same time and one midfielder always behind the ball actually frees them up to fit in another dynamic attacking forward in Shaqiri. Fair play to Klopp. This is a fantastic achievement for them

It wound have been, but as a Celtic fan too now I’ve got to contend with the prick getting excited about his rangers team. If rangers and Liverpool win the league im giving up the internet

They didn't even play at maximum capacity today. Arsenal gifted them three goals with poor defending, and Liverpool are in a moment where everything they hit goes in.

It's mad to think they've started this game with 3 players bought from relegated sides for a total of less than £50m.

There are so many players who we could have obtained that would have improved us massively but Mourinho wasted two and a half years worth of transfer windows. Pogba, Matic and maybe Dalot is the only decent signing in his time.

City are going to have to go for the win. It'll be a repeat of the CL QF at the Etihad

Biggest advantage for them is that there is no one who can actually pull some mind games. Poch and Pep is too decent to even talk about it.

Imagine if it was SAF or Jose chasing them- 100% sure referee wouldnt have given both penalties today.

Big fecking “I told you so” @ assorted gimps mocking my pre-season opinion that Liverpool were City’s main contenders for the title. If only it wasn’t so depressing to be proven right :(

Should have been obvious. Their improvement under Klopp has followed a very clear upwards trend and last season they reached the CL final scoring a ton of goals and generally playing very well. Klopp made average players like Henderson work, and now he's got more quality players too.

If City don't beat them then that's it, their fixtures are way too kind. They are going to be 4 points clear having played City twice and Arsenal twice even if they lose. fecking depressing.
