Not too fuzzed about the price, tbh. The key for me is that with him, Mane, Keita and Salah we are buying players that are as good, or better, compared to what other title aspirants are buying.

Yeah, VVD is a great signing. And Coutinho must have been made backroom promises for him to magically recover from his extreme mental agony.
Although, I still have a feeling that Barca may not come back for him and he may eventually end up staying. This is quite a team you guys have assembled and with Keita coming in later, it's going to be pretty tight.
Wishful thinking though. Coutinho is a Brazilian player, of a more ambitious/different temperament than the others in Liverpool's attack and naturally attracted to one of the big two in Spain. Salah is a humble, down to earth loyal type of guy who seems to be happy being at a relatively moderate level. I don't see him leaving if he becomes their star.
So is Firmino, despite being also Brazilian, he seems too loyal.
Rather than hoping for Liverpool players to be tapped up, let us try to sign players of similar quality.

They've spent massively on a CM (60M) and a CB (75M) but need to buy a new GK, LB and a CM to think of challenging for the title. They would be out a fortune. Don't let Liverpool fans ever go on about us spending money again.

Doubt it. City are earning about 1 point per game more than Liverpool this season. A new defender and keeper might save Liverpool a dozen points next season but it's not going to make a serious dent in the gap between them and City. Might keep them in the title race until Nov instead of Sept next season if they're lucky.

Unfortunately, this is a step in the right direction for Liverpool. With Keita coming in the summer and maybe a significant upgrade on Mignolet they could repeat the 13/14 season. Well of course if Coutinho stays.
They've spent £115 million on Van Dijk and the Ox. Thats just insane 
If they've got the pre-injury van Dijk then they've probably got a decent deal, given the crazy price inflation since Pogba.
Having a CB who is dominant in the air like Van Dijk is could improve their set piece defense and make it less likely to drop points against bottom of the table sides.
It will be interesting to see how he fits. Because if his addition can somehow stabilize and solve their issues in the back, even though the fee is high it might be money well spent.
