Hazard against anyone wouldn;t be good, but yeah, Manquillo seems a lot more solid than Johnson. Surprised Kolo got dropped too. Very harsh IMO.

Why isn't the Lallana transfer getting the stick it deserves?
Probably because compared to Lovren, Balotelli, and Markovic he has been quality.
Maybe because a) We've hardly started the season b) he was injured and hardly had any pre-season and c) most 'Pool supporters think he's made a reasonable start.
He hasn't been that bad when he's played, certainly not on the same level of awfulness as some of the others.

Don't understand why you dislike Lallana and Allen. Lallana especially who has been good since joining.
I don't dislike either. I don't rate Allen at all but I don't dislike him, he's a good pro who works hard.
Lallana is just a case of me preferring Coutinho.

The referee was an absolute shithouse. Ramires should have walked and we should have had a penalty.

We weren't going to beat Chelsea. If Karma, a slip, or a referee doesn't stop us then the FA would overturn any result we got. So might as well take it on the chin and move on.
Chelsea didn't look all that to be honest. A 1st gear, not even trying, Real Madrid looked more dangerous against us. Another injury to Costa (which is always likely with his record) and Mourinho will have finished 3rd and only won the Carling Cup in his first two seasons. Hardly a genius.

They're a current version of last season's Spurs. Just like Tottenham, they swapped their only world class player for a bunch of midtable crap so no wonder that they look like garbage.

It was a corner I think, therefore it was shocking defending by the ones ball watching and not picking their men. 4 Chelsea men in the box, all unmarked. Jeez

Obviously Melbourne, twice named the world's most livable city in the past 3 years is a hell hole compared to the wonderland that is Liverpool.
It may surprise you that I know that already and knew this would be the comeback. However I suggested to my daughter (and her fiancé) who came back from touring Aus. a couple of months ago, they wold enjoy it based on it's reputation (they were going there anyway for a wedding). They didn't.
It's important to note that the reasons why certain groups or magazines etc. rate some cities particularly highly are factors which make 'living' in a city, as opposed to visiting it, or appreciating it from an aesthetic viewpoint, attractive. Medical facilities, cost of living, price of real estate, crime rate, weather etc. .... as you can see most of those factors are not going to visually impress anyone.
They really didn't like it at all, run-down in many places and, compared to Sydney, it simply didn't compare. They loved Cairns more too ! Personally NZ is more up my street, I just love that place.
