Little Big Planet: Is this the game of the year?

I haven't picked up LBP and didn't think I was going to but that MGS stuff looks very tempting, might have to get it over Christmas.

Weaste that looks magnificent!!! Hats off to sony this is a great innovative game. Now do you have to download the attire to make you look like snake? and how long would it have taken to design that level? I have to buy this:drool:

If you know someone online to play with that has, it seems that you can use when playing with them, you just can't keep the stuff when playing on your own or with others that don't have it.

I don't think that it would have taken them that long. I can also see in the future other games companies doing similar things like this as promotional material for their games, movies doing stuff, etc.

Can you actually play that level? How do you find it?

Am I the only one who really finds it hard to dig out the good user-generated content from the utter shite? Would be great if they had some kind of Top 10, instead of the fairly random way it's all arranged at the moment.

that is the best thing ever. bet we dont get it over here for a while tho, we always have to wait ages to get the decent stuff on the european PSN

Bit irritated to have to pay for additional content but props to the developers, that's a canny way to get the most out of the platform they spent so much time developing.

The cnuts.

Yeah, they have been very clever with it in that regard, but you can play it over PSN if you know someone who has it, so it says. It's just that you can't keep the stuff for yourself, only when playing with them.

The MGS content is up on the PS Store now. Got my copy of LBP yesterday and downloaded the Metal Gear stuff earlier, its really well done, love the paint gun.

Played this with a few mates the other day, must say it is brilliant fun with 3 or more people

my game keeps telling me it cant save as there isnt enough room in my profile, it tells me to delete stuff from either my items, my pictures etc..

where do i go to do this? its probably cos i did a community level that gave me 300 items

its pretty stupid considering i have 25gb of space left on my ps3.

Are you lot still playing this? Or has it lost its charm?

Still debating whether to pick it up or not. Would like to know if anyone's tired of it by now.

I still play it, never felt bored of it yet.

It's especially good with mates over, brilliant fun. The fact that there are new user levels each day make it never get boring.

The japanese make crazy levels.

This has to be worth £12.99 with free delivery right? Just ordered mine, I have held out whilst watching the price drop and now I am pouncing

Anyone still playing LBP?

I have created my first level. Its called "Premier League Club Stickers". My PSN ID is gaffs.

Its a simple level where you can collect 20 crest stickers of the Premier League Clubs. Have a go - it only takes a min to play. You can then have a United sticker to decorate your pod with or use in your own level.

If you dont want the stickers from the other clubs, just jump over them or delete them from your list.

Please also heart the level and me as a creator. Send me a PM with the details of your level and i will do the same for you. Enjoy.

The thing is, I got quite a big wage in February as I covered a lot of extra shifts so I was planning to buy LBP, KillZone 2 and then Resident Evil 5.

Now I don't have the money for any of them, so when my PS3 comes back I can only afford to buy one:(

I'll probably go with Resident Evil 5.

same here Freak,i played it for a few days when i got it on release date, and a a bit when the metal gear solid pack came out, havent touched it since

Just booted LBP up again cosa this thread, now I remember why it's so good, its one of those games thats only good when you play it for a while IMO
