I'm not sure I've ever seen a player with a more positive impact on a team. Very good team when he plays, horrendous when he doesn't. Absolutely love him, bit of a wind up too

100%, he's lucky the rules didn't change prior to kick off.
 well played

He helps us beat the press and get out midfield more involved. We defo need to find a good cb this much is evident. One who can defend and won't be bullied but also comfortable on the ball.

Him and Varane were both immense today, we're just so much better with him being fit and in the side

Dude do you know how a body works? He isn't ready to play an entire game and even less with this intensity ffs
Ah fair enough. I commentators mentioned hamstring so I was worried.

He’s a wonderful football. He could play for any team in the world and I don’t think they’d be any / much worse off. He’s one player who could play CL knockout games and be comfortable

Hopefully he will stay fit. I actually think Copa America will help him a lot. Especially if he comes from the bench, as Otamendi is the starter. He will have some minutes enough to adjust his fitness and game rythm

Please don't be injured again. Love to see him on the ball. He is so good. Is a warrior and never gives up. Injuries are becoming a huge issue though.

Starting to get injury prone which kinda sucks since he has such a massive presence in the build up and back line.

Well, it was his first start since February I read somewhere? Possibly lacks fitness.

Such a pity we didn’t see him and Varane enough this season. They were both really good together today.

We've missed him so much. His defending, mentality and aggression aside, there was a passage of play in the first half where a City player was pressing him, he span 360 degrees on a sixpence, moved away from the pressure and fired a laser beam pass into the feet of one of the midfielders in the blink of an eye.

I dunno if there's another centre back in world football that can do that the same way.

Quality player and hopefully doesn't become injury-prone as last 13 months or so would suggest.

Only one to give it back to wanker Walker, who seemed to have case of sore loserness. Was going unnecessarily hard into challenges, was hoping someone fecking lunged into cnut.

Feels good to finally have some likeable Argentinians play for us. We've been through the worst with Di Maria, Heinze and Tevez.

The only player who was very unlikable was Di Maria.
Romero, Veron, Rojo, even Tevez were and are still likable. I believe Tevez talks highly about us. Not too sure about Heinze. He was a bit thick thinking we would let him leave for Liverpool.

How we have missed this guy, fierce, warrior and a leader, loved watching him get under that rat Walkers skin. We just need to keep him fit, the Argies produce some absolute talent dont they.
