Sounds like a pretArgentina NT "manger" : "Licha has been performing really well, turned games around and saved our arse in the last game. Hmmmmmm I've made my decision, on the bench"

Someone post the goal saving tackle please.
Oh sweet child. Don’t be so foolish. Just have a read through some recent pages on this thread and you’ll see there are some who still doubt him.I fecking hate recency bias (like someone asking whether Mbappe is the best-ever French player ffs),
But I can't help thinking that he's one of the most instantly-likable players we've ever had.
Can't imagine a single United fan that's not in awe of him.
I didn't know him either and I'll be the first to admit I thought his height might be an issue in the PL, against certain teams that still might be problematic.Didnt know him like other at Ajax, but said weeks ago, he is the best signing we have made post Ferguson and should be made captain next season.
A lot of people wrote Argentina off after the first couple of games, but they have possibly the two best centre backs in the trounament for me, Romero is also fantastic, that should be there partnership and they also have Enzo Fernandez and Alvaraez breakign through (never been impressed by Latauro Martinez).
He appears to have built an instant rapport with several players not just us fans, that tackle and his fist pump is probably my favourite moment so far in this world cup, such a good player, liek others, love him and havent been able to say that about one of our players for a long time, shame Caesemeiro is 30 as he also looks a top signing
It's not a bad idea if/when Di María isn't startingSuperb again. I would go 3-5-2 just to put him in the starting lineup. Do it Scaloni madafukka
From the quarters onwards it's all tough games so not a a bad ideaSuperb again. I would go 3-5-2 just to put him in the starting lineup. Do it Scaloni madafukka

Scaloni has always been a bit of a dimwit right from his Deportivo days it was evident.
I mean even David Moyes knows a good defender when he sees one. But this manager, Lionel Scallops or whatever doesn't seem to realize it.

He reminds me of Bryan Robson, he has the same passion and the never say die attitude of "you ain't fecking getting past me sunshine" and for that reason alone he will be a firm favourite.
Is he too short for Scaloni's requirements?
Souness is the worst pundit for knocking Lisandro because of his height. He should remember Colin Todd who was also just 5' 9" and played for England. He was a great CB who played for Derby County and England in the 70s.When the anti-United pundits (you know the ones) try to write him off, it’s always for the same reason, height.
They need to do their homework. He has everything. Could still flop of course but he has all the tools there, and it won’t be down to height

Pretty sure it was Otamendi!I couldn’t make out if it was Martinez out jumping the Aussie giant twice in the last minute- or was it Otamendi? Epic headers!
