Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber
Thus says Kemo
I'm certainly not as natural stupid as you.Chief thinks Ronaldo with his tap ins, penalties and single ballon d'or is up there with pele and maradona.

There is no reason why he can't get there. You consistently underrate him as a player its untrue. You always make him out to be a more clinical version of Heskey with your descriptions of him.Ronaldo will be up there with Pele and Maradona?
Ronaldo has not matched Pele's dominance at club level? Are you for real?... Never mind Pele's dominance at both international and club level, a level Ronaldo's not matched on either stage.....
I'm certainly not as natural stupid as you.
He'll be lucky to be rated alongside Inzaghi by the time he hangs up his boots
That's harsh, he'll be remembered with the Ronaldo's and Ronaldinho's. People fail to understand that the reason why Messi is talked about as in the same category as Pele and Maradona is because of his outstanding achievements - first and foremost - and the outstanding quality of his performances. Outstanding being the key word here. Ronaldo's so far behind in both categories, but some clueless idiots think his tap ins and penalties amount to something outstanding.
Who we talking about here? Renaldo?? We could never be talking about Cristiano Ronaldo.. Penalties and tap-ins.. Who's Barcelona's penalty taker again. Not starting another Messi v Ronaldo debate but if all your going to bring to the table is 'but some clueless idiots think his tap ins and penalties'. Might as well you air out your opinions with your dog.

Not about agreeing, many (not everyone) are saying stuff that indicates to me they didn't really watch Messi. Before I posted his performances I saw quite a few posts saying he played "average". So I'm pretty sure of that, its just my opinion, deal with it.
Wait, Messi was the best player at WC 2010?!
If you don't agree you did not watch the WC.Wait, Messi was the best player at WC 2010?!
Messi is miles ahead of everybody else, including Ronaldo.
Some feel he could have contributed more and as the best player in the world, could have done more for his team's cause. Just because you think he did all he could and was the best player in the tournament, doesnt mean everybody has to think the same. Different people have different expectations of a player. To simply say you must not have watched him play then is childish.
I didn't say he was the best player at the WC, I said he put in better performances than any player at the WC. There's a big difference, because personally I don't think his performances were enough to make him best player as he didn't have much substance to show for it with his team. I also feel he could have contributed more, but I was comparing his performances to his peers', not to what i expect of him, primarily because a lot of people were calling his performances average.
And the not watching him play charge was made first to a poster that said something completely false and that indicated they didn't watch, and then to posters that thought it ridiculous the notion that he played very well. I don't think those posters really watched, and that is a reasonable inference judging by what they said. I think you're the one being very childish by trying to twist my argument into "Messi was the best player at WC 2010 and if you don't think so you didn't watch him".
As for those that think saying Messi played very well at the WC is laughable, even Del Bosque shares that opinion. Again, I honestly feel posters that respond like that without any serious reasoning didn't really watch Messi, and I think that's a fair inference.

today is his birthday, 25 years old
He's living a dream; not surprised to hear he plays for fun!
