Out of interest what is the record of scoring most goal in a season in any 19 team league?
Wouldn't know, there are no 19-team leagues as far as I know.

Someone on RAWK should make one of these for Liverpool this season.
In a 38 game season, 31 goals is the record in the Premier League. In La Liga, Ronaldo got 41 goals last season from 34 games -- so he missed four games. Think that's the record.Out of interest what is the record of scoring most goal in a season in any 19 team league?

Yep...Now stands at 5 to match César with 235
40 goals in successive seasons in a few weeks > 30 goals in 3 seasons tbf.
But then again, Messi will probably match Ronaldos 40 streak, but just a year behind. So it'll be another null one for Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is still ahead on the Pichichi stakes, with ten penos, mind. Messi would be 5 ahead taking chalking those off.
Messi wouldn't be behind if he didn't keep missing penalties.![]()
at 24 ... do you know how long it took cesar to score all those goals?

Lionel Messi's the modest hero of our truly golden age: Patrick Collins | Mail Online
Collins is a good hack.

Marcos has become quite the Messi fan. I don't remember him being a big one before. Is that the general trend in Argentina, Marcos? I think you were quite skeptical of him a couple of years back and reflected a similar mood as being prevalent in Argentina of wanting him to do it for the national side before he getsthat sort of acclaim.
well, i cant ignore the facts and what i see every time messi plays football, even the last world cup showed me how good he is and despite not scoring a single goal, was, imo one of the best players of that tournament
He was actually quite good. Not sure which game it was that Higuaín got a hat-trick, shades of the Maradona-Caniggia tandem there: Higuaín scored at will because every single fecker in defence had been dragged away trying to deal with Messi.
The problem for Argentina was... everything else.
Messi, today:
"Guardiola is more important for Barça than I am, no doubt. He changed everything, he's crucial for this team."
One more thing Ronaldo can learn from Messi... Never seen a player so good, yet so humble before..

I think there's room for both types of player, it's great to see players like Messi and Scholes that are humble but on the other hand cocky, arrogant players like Ronaldo and Cantona are great entertainment as well.
Just what has he ever said about any of his managers that suggests "he who must not be named in this thread" is arrogant?
I can only remember him saying very complimentary things about Sir Alex, Mourinho & Scolari...
Cal?, are you saying that Ron is not arrogant?C'mon buddy and it's not really a criticism. He's bloody well good enough to be that arrogant.
It's just not a trait which your opponents will admire much, that's all.
