Lets laugh at Liverpool

Pragmatically, other than CL qualification and prize-money, what are the differences between finishing 2nd and finishing 7th or 5th or ninth or 12th?

fecking hell. Let's see.....

United finish 2nd, ONE point behind the champions. Looks like United will be competing for the title next season, and have automatically qualified for the CL. Any top players we try to sign won't need any persuading.

Liverpool finish 7th, TWENTY THREE points behind the champions. Fat fecking chance of winning the league any time soon, and having to pre-qualify for the Channel 5 Cup. Anyone signing for Liverpool will either be shit or will have been told by their agent they are signing for a club in the NW of England who play in red.

Can you see the difference now?

I would rather finish 2nd obviously, but when the votes are in, finishing in either of these positions means the league was lost and that's all we're here for ultimately.

I am a pragmatic man with little room for emotion. It's my upbringing, you see.

Please tell me you're joking?? :wenger:

I know I shouldn't bring Rafa into this but Jan Molby on 5live : "I think this is the legacy of Rafa Benitez"

Why are all our ex-players such dicks?

hehe good work Molby

I really don't get the joy in seeing Liverpool like this anymore. Rafa took the hate with him for me. It is hard for me to laugh at Roy. Decent guy.
