Nah, that was a freak result. I’m loving the Liverpool season though, reminds me of Klopp’s implosion at Dortmund

That's the bit I'm worried about. Hopefully we don't make the same mistake as Dortmund, i.e. allow Klopp walk away.

They’ve spent all their money on attackers. They have Salah, Jota, Nunez, Gapko, Diaz and Firminio. They are all half decent players that should do a job. In midfield they have a load of players that make Fred look world class.

Despite so many attackers, the problem is they are all a level below the Mane, Firmino and Salah trio they had. Those 3 were world class together. All the new ones they’ve bought are unlikely to ever be world class. On top of that, playing without a midfield and a disjointed defence is a recipe for disaster. It’s a joy to watch.
 
At least they’ve got 40 points so should be safe for another season

Of course the midfield is the biggest issue by far but it shouldn't detract from the fact that their new attacking signings are really average. Their previous backups in Jota and Diaz, are someway better than both Nunez and Gapko, and those two were already somewhat inferior to Mane / Firmino / Salah.

They can fix the midfield but they won't be a title challenging team with that attack.

I'm enjoying it fine. It helps the narrative that you game raised for your cup final, which even after the last 5-10 years have gone, is quite glorious!

I'm also enjoying it because Sounness, Carragher and that dope Dogleash junior have come off looking awful thick for their post match nonsense. So yea, Thursday night, Channel 5. Etc! :)

Oh we are enjoying it don’t worry.

It’s going to be interesting for you in the summer with no CL football or money to spend. Perhaps no European football at all..

The transfer market will be tough and you have so much work to do..
