Lets laugh at Liverpool

Somebody posted this joke on my Twitter..credit to whoever came up with it

Police have made several arrests of scouse terrorists on Merseyside today. Bin Thievin, Bin Steelin, Bin Deelin and Bin Dippin were all caught but there was no sign of Bin Workin
That joke is older than God.
So has he won more trophies than at Atletico?
The same amount (zero)

I think they will qualify for the Europa League and it could, ironically, be down to us winning the Carling Cup.

Where do Liverpool have to finish to qualify for the Europa Cup? Providing they don't steal this year's or 4th place of course.

If Portsmouth win the FA Cup they'll have to finish 6th or higher, if a team in the top 7 wins it, they'll have to finish 7th or higher.

Spurs won't finish ahead of them. They're Spurs.

Villa will be distracted by the cup, plus they always remember how mediocre they actually are when it's business time.

It's on City. Which is possible, unless Torres hits form and starts scoring every single game, which he might, in which case City are fecked.

because of how close it is for the title, both us and Chelsea will be desperate for the points.

The fact is it does not just depend on the others dropping points. Liverpool have to win their games.

They just are not good enough this season.

...the real issue is what rafa hinted at....there are other problems internally...owners, lack of confidence in the manager by the team, especially the captain.

recipe for disaster.

They'll be pretty much as desperate for points as we are

They also have a pretty easy run-in except for those two games. The only other challenging one is Birmingham away.

Tonight was a part of their easy run-in. :)

Also, they have an away match at Lille less than 72 hours before coming to Old Trafford and I imagine Benitez will put out a strong side in the Europa Cup. I can see them having a tough time in both games.

I don't want to jinx it.

DIPPERS WILL FINISH 4th.

I don't trust Spuds, city or villa. All three will bottle the chance to play champions league football. You can quote me on that.

You're lookng at this from a title challengers perspective. They just got rumped by Wigan and are shite. Every game is challenging. No way will they finish fourth.

Im watching the game on replay with my liverpool housemate who doesn't know the result, this is glorious.

That is sadism at its best. Can you video his reaction? Why don't you tell him you know the score and Liverpool end up winning

Wrong.

Portsmouth face the prospect of chasing FA Cup glory without the prize of European football after it emerged they have not applied for a UEFA club licence.

Avram Grant’s men face Fulham or Tottenham in the semi-finals of the competition and reaching the final would, in normal circumstances, guarantee a Europa League place if the winners qualify for the Champions League.

However, all the paperwork for a UEFA licence needs to be submitted to enter European competitions and it is understood that Pompey, who are in administration and are fighting a winding-up order from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, have not lodged an application.

Pompey secured a last-four berth on Saturday by beating Birmingham amid emotional scenes at Fratton Park, with Grant suggesting they were playing for pride and their fans rather than prize money.

“People sometimes with all the money and the business forget what is the nature of football,” Grant said.

“This is what football is about. The nature of football is what you see here in Portsmouth.

“It’s amazing to be with this team. Even with the squad we had before nobody believed we could do it. To be with this team in Wembley, I think it’s amazing. You saw the emotions after the game. They speak for themselves.”

Is it just me or have most of the forum's Scousers been in hiding lately?

Watch them crawl back in their droves after the season's over to tell us all about how next season is going to be their year.
