Thinks the caf is 'wokeish'.
I mean, let's not sign Gareth Bale
Oh? It wasn't very clear where you stood in the issue.
I mean, let's not sign Gareth Bale
Damn. I guess you two have had turbulent relantionships with pretty much everyone, all throughout your lives...
Again, not the impression I get - but who really cares. Most seem enthusiastically in favor of a loan move at least.
Yeah but he was good in 2013 broHe would cost €30m in wages alone excluding a loan fee. Signing him is madness.
Because it was. A couple isolated incidents of frustration don't make for a turbulent relationship. It's weird that it seems to bother you as it's not exactly a controversial opinion, it's a fact that he wasn't always happy with the fans.
It happens elsewhere and there are more extreme examples but I don't get why you've taken issue with the suggestion it wasn't always a good relationship.
Can you give us some more details? From what I know - meaning what is being said in articles which may or may not be true - is that he doesn't communicate much with his team members and speaks little Spanish despite his time at Real.Because it was. A couple isolated incidents of frustration don't make for a turbulent relationship.
Gareth Bale, he has had a turbulent relationship with us. That's what a turbulent relationship looks like
I just read somewhere today Gareth is 30 this year? How old is he really?Yes. Yes indeed I am very much happy with signing a guy in his twenties more talented than anyone in our squad, who just one year ago scored an increadible bicycle goal in the Champions League Final and had 14 goals in 42 (not claiming those stats are immense) games thise season. Oh, and he has four CL trophies, thats one more than our entire squad and staff has.
Real have a couple of expensive players they need rid of in James and Bale. As long as Utd get Bale cheaply, then no issue at all. I’ve advicated a Bale loan for a while.
No idea why posters bring up him turning us down as a major issue - previously he didn’t consider Utd to be his best option, big bloody deal. Get over it.
Utd only have a limited amount of money, and need some inspiration in attack, if we can have him as a stop gap and he provides enough fire power to get us into the CL, that’s good enough, and he’s certainly capable of that.
Oh yes and Manchester United should step in and be the donkey that takes on one of the players in Bale that they are desperate to get rid of because of unsustainable wages, performance to salary ration, attitude and being at the wrong end of his 20s to boot.
Stupidity by Manchester United - ooh yes please, as fans what's not to love about being Real Madrid's useful idiot.

Yes I read your post again, I get it.If you read my post it says if we can get Bale cheaply on a loan i wouldn’t be against it.
Utd have the upper hand in negotiations if they want Bale, and can then get Bale at the right price.
Given Real really want to get rid of him, especially with Hazard coming in, there is potential for a deal where Utd just pay a proportion of his wages. Nothing wrong with that.
Great post.Apart from his obvious injury concerns, and whether he can adapt his game once his pace starts to go, which I think he will. My major concern is his mindset, he hasn't wanted to come here in the past. He's made it perfectly clear he wants to stay at Real Madrid. Ole has made a point about buying players with the right mindset. The only way Bale comes here is like Sanchez and Rat Face for the money and we saw how that worked out. Not saying players who move for money can't be a success, but I'd rather get back to getting players who see us as a step up. I don't think Bale sees us that way. I don't think he has the hunger we need going forward.
I don't see why what Bale said about his preference of Real Madrid over United is so badly taken.
Bale is Welsh and going to United from Spurs was the most obvious and easiest move the lad could make. Likewise soon as Bale started making his steps up it became obvious to everyone that United would be the team that should go for him - considering his position, his nationality & his specialties.
It all linked with Bale & United. However I could always see why the Lad would want to go to Real Madrid over United. The guy didn't want to do things the traditional Welsh & British club way and wanted to test himself abroad alongside the likes of Ronaldo & Messi at Real Madrid - arguably the most signified club in the world.
What he said about preferring Madrid over United before doesn't effect me because I really doubt that the transfer to United wouldn't be what he would want after his time at Madrid is over.
there isn't much more to say. Bale has been mostly great, but also injured a lot, had a number of horrible high profile performances, kept the spanish golden boy out or the team, and in 3 of the 5 seasons of the BBC, the team just looked better without him. It's been a love/hate relationship starting from year two, with the mood swinging wildly from game to game depending on his performances. As i said, irrationalCan you give us some more details? From what I know - meaning what is being said in articles which may or may not be true - is that he doesn't communicate much with his team members and speaks little Spanish despite his time at Real.
For me that is a big 'No No' when you live in a foreign country. I also suspect Gareth wants to keep aloof from his team mates and while you can get away with that in some football clubs and leagues. I doubt it is appreciated at Real Madrid.
Is he a better golfer than footballer now?
Last heard he found golf too stressful, he is planning to try his hand at mini-golf instead. Is he a better golfer than footballer now?
