Those eight goals and three assists in the league will take us far.
In fact we really should pony up and sign him on a permanent.
Assuming he gets up from the physio's table, or we've managed to pry him from the golf course...running towards the Stretford end with that shitty heart celebration, no thanks
How many games did he start?

Hardly terrible stats considering he played only 1800 minutes. If we get him on loan for free (paying wages only), I don't think it would be the worst scenario for us. It would be a good stopgap for a year while we could focus on Sancho deal (if we REALLY want him). Those eight goals and three assists in the league will take us far.

He scored one of the best CL final goals ever just a little over a year ago yet zidane still couldn’t look at him. Zidane seems to have a personal issue with him and Madrid fans back their legend
I was referring to when zidane was there beforeMadrid fans were already booing Bale's awful performances before Zidane returned.
Zidane doesn't seem to rate him but I don't think it's personal. If Bale was playing fantastically and Zidane was benching him anyway then maybe but that's not the case.

Better option than having no right wing at all I say! I'd rather a Bale than Lingard/Mata who end up nowhere near the touchline for 95% of the game. Or have retired that position in honour of Ronaldo like teams do with shirt numbers!"It's cheap"
Not when you don't own the asset, it's not. If you loan him and fail to get top four (a strong possibility, given he's on the decline) it's literally wasted money with zero upside.
I don't "support" it but I think we can do much worse than getting him on loan for 1 season, certainly better than seeing Jlingz and Mata on the right again. That wasn’t my point. The fact that he played less than twenty matches worth of minutes in 21 starts and nearly 30 appearances is quite damning.
He’s still a crock. So no matter how good he is or isn’t when he’s fit is irrelevant.
I honestly can’t believe how so many could support such a stupid notion after Falcao, Bastian and Sanchez.
The only fans who should rightly be excited are Madridistas.
People seriously happy with United signing a past it,consistently injured,prima-donna player in Bale.
Even on loan I wouldn't go near him.
Are Madrid also the problem? We are the problem. Not Bale.
An otherwise stable team that had been successful in their recent transfer business could bring Bale in on loan and reap the rewards. The negative reaction on here is more to do with the Falcao, Schweintsteiger and Sanchez hauntings, as opposed to any personal issue with Bale. The perception that we haven’t got a transfer blueprint.
Whoever manages to get Bale for a year or two are still getting a seriously good player. There’s no doubt about that for me.
If we were to strengthen in all other positions with the right sort of players, I would have no issue with Bale coming in to play on the right wing. Particularly given that Sancho is unattainable at this time.

Martian Samuel makes this point with more clarity if you click that link.
Chamces are it's not happening.I wonder how much of this loan deal is Ole’s decision rather than a Glazer spawn whim. Didn’t they learn anything from signing Sanchez?
If a loan happens it’ll be with a transfer fee agreed. There are two scenarios here, both aren’t good:If it is a loan, and only a loan, then I can get behind this.
If a loan happens it’ll be with a transfer fee agreed. There are two scenarios here, both aren’t good:
a) he does well. We then sign an injury prone 30/31 year old winger for c.£60m
b) he does badly. We’ve just wasted a place in the squad, the money for his wages, and taken game time away from someone more likely to become a better player.
What's there to lose with a loan deal if he wants to be here? We must have Real pay part of the wages though, feck the 600k pw
I'm okay with getting him on loan for 1 year with no obligation to buy. We still need RW and he's better than what we have. If we could get into top 4 next season then I think we'll get Sancho
This. Every day of the week. This guy is apparently telling Real Madrid he is staying. He would sooner stay on the bench at Real that play football for us, so why would we take him? He's turned us down at every available opportunity in his career, so I hope to feck we turn him down now let him stay on the bench like he wants.
Reeks of Di Maria. A player forced out who is only coming to us as a last resort. His heart will not be in United.
Getting Bale on loan makes a lot of sense. Yes his wages are exorbitant but we'd get, when fit, a world class right winger for a season until say Sancho becomes available next summer.
