Martinez, Maguire & De Ligt all playing well at the moment but I’m looking forward to Yoro getting in and getting a run. He’s going to be generational.

I was stressed when I saw him take the third penalty, but fair play to the lad, cool as ice
When I saw him step out, I laughed, don't know why, seemed like Amorim was sending out kids (Amad, Yoro), to take pens, after Yoro I thought he would send Collyer

great injury to pick up in preseason and miss a lot of the shit show.

Big balls to take the 3rd penalty as a 19 yo defender only coming on in extra time. I knew he'd score too. Has a certain confident/arrogance to him, like backing himself to make the tackle on Darwin last week.

Was calm and confident. It’s great to have such a talent on the bench - and what a penalty he took

This isn’t a delayed reaction to his tackle last week or the performance in today's game, or the successful penalty. This is something I've felt about this guy all along.
It's about his body language and expression. He plays like an already experienced footballer, he makes decisions and moves with ease. He looks both focused and confident at the same time.

I know it is maybe way too early to say, but the lad is something special. He is going to be a world-class player, on par with Vida and Rio.
There. I said it.
Relax, you are not crazy. The most well rounded defender we had since Rio probably. He has the size, pace, balance, vision, quality on the ball, composure needed to be a mainstay for us in the future.

He's 19 but cool with that penalty, well done to him.

Think he'll start vs Southampton so de Ligt/Maguire can be rested.

kid is going to be really, really good. Can't explain it, but there's some young players who have "it" that leaves you with no doubt that they'll make it. Yoro is one of those talents.

great penalty. Took a lot of guts for a young guy to step up, kudos to him.

Loved how fired up he was with de ligt for a few clearances as well, not to mention how good his penalty was.

Fantastic temperament to not only take responsibility with the penalty but also such a cool finish. Think we need to get him into the team soon as his pace at the back is something we are missing.

Showed character to step up for a penalty , as a 19 year defender no one would think less of him if he did not want to take one at all.

Really surprised he stepped up to take one. Great pen

It's clear as day that he will be a top player. Almost as clear as when Rooney debuted.

Please can we start starting him in games? This is not a player to be benched a lot. He needs plenty minutes. Not just because of his quality but also getting used to the league.

The last player I expected to take a penalty.

Despite the balls and courage and mentality and all of that jazz, Raya’s dive was hilarious.

We're obviously wrapping him in cotton wool to make sure there is no chance of his injury reoccurring, as that's likely the only thing stopping him going on to great things.

As much as he is mocked here Jones was similarly heralded when he first signed for us, but injuries completely wrecked him. Let Yoro keep coming off the bench and starting odd games for this season. He'll be much better off for it down the line.

This guy is going to be a generational talent, ts just his all round demeanor, that tackle at Anfield for me set him out, he had no right to make that tackle at his age………in that cauldron of a stadium, a stadium and atmosphere that breaks many. I just hope that we can be successful and keep him, I can understand the high price we paid for this young man, fast becoming one of my sons favourite players.

I'm sure the starts will come, if anything, this next run of games is where he will. I like Amorim easing him in, building up his confidence. He must be on cloud 9 now after his performances off the bench against Pool and Arsenal.
