he came racing back and we all knew what was going to happen, Vardy was going to make sure he got in Rafael's way, Rafael is not a young player and should have known that any striker would do that and adjusted, by not doing so he gave Vardy the chance to go down the the ref a decision to make

Foxes fan in peace, my view of today was you looked frightening going forward but we were always capable of causing you problems going forward.
I was very near the 1st penalty incident, I'd of been annoyed if that was given against my team it was soft, but Raphael has form for being rash and he should never of made it that easy for Vardy to go down, would Di Maria, Falcao or Mata have gone down in that situation yes 100%.
I thought the second was a penalty but wasn't a straight red card.
I was disappointed in your front three today especially Rooney who spent the whole 2nd half chasing the ref about.

I don't like it either but after years of teams doing it to us I'm not going to complain too much that its going our way, if it were a perfect world and no one dives it would be great but it isn't and TBF to Vardy he doesn't often create the contact he just doesn't get out of the way when he can.

He got about 13 last season including the only 1 at QPR which set us on our way to the title, he won about 10 pens too, most of which were stone wall pens from memory despite missing a couple of months with injury

We can blame the ref as long as we want, but we still conceded four more goals against Leicester. I think LvG is right to publicly defend our backline and to spread responsibility on the whole team, but honestly: these players are simply not good enough. The defending today was absolutely fecking ridiculous. Rafael remains as petulant as ever, but his back up is even worse, so we are stuck with him for now. The central defenders are playing such a high line, when they have trouble putting in a tackle or header to win the ball. This was a game we should not have lost, especially when we took that 3-1 lead. Time to bring in Shaw at left back and move Rojo to the middle and see if he can make a slight difference. So exciting to see the attacking football being played, but the pathetic defending is going to ruin all the hard work.

Well, maybe not exactly fine, but maybe it was not exactly cheating either. I'd say it is debatable. Fact is Vardy provoked the contact and went down very easily. I can understand that from that guys position, I'd say the guy took his chance and got lucky.

The one where the ball went out I am not sure about. Maybe it did, maybe didn't, I don't know. What I do know is that you play to the goddamn whistle, especially when defending. Evans positioning was simple horrible and that goal was his mistake alone.
The push on Blackett, well, I have seen them given. I have seen them not given a lot more often. And quite frankly, I have absolutely no confidence in a defender who lets someone push him away that easily. Last but not least, where was his cover? You CAN blame the ref, you MUST blame our defence for both these goals.

1. Rafael was not to 'blame' for Vardy's penalty, all angles show that it was a dive.

2. Blackett's foul was 100% a penalty but not a straight red card, no malice intent there.

3. We looked absolutely fantastic going forward, our fluidity and speed was brilliant, the best i've seen quite a long time.

4. Our defence isn't actually that bad. Our organisation when we have time is fine, it is when teams are on the counter that half of our defensive unit goes missing and opposition players have a free run on goal. This was very evident today IMO. However, it can be remedied in training and I remain confident that it will be.

Problem is that we don't have much choice in defence because none of our players back there seem to be able to stay fit for more than 5 mins. So you have a situation where you are relying on Blackett, Evans and Smalling at the back. Blackett's a new comer and was always gonna struggle eventually at this level.

Really is a disgraceful dive actually. I've been critical of Rafael's rashness (and I still think he needs to grow up regarding his temperament) but Vardy has conned that moron of a ref. I think Rafa's reputation as a hot-head has probably meant that Twattenburg assumes the foul was coming even before anything had happened.

Clattenburg gave a terrible decision and the game did seem to swing on that moment.
However, United shouldn't have allowed the game to get away from them after the penalty and Van Gaal is right to make that point post-match. A side with top 4 ambitions needs to have better game management skills than this. A long way to go before Utd are ready to compete with the top sides again.

I don't know which foul people are complaining about with de laet, I missed it. Mata tripped up or slipped for the 4th goal, dont think de laet even touched him.
