The referee won that game, momentum wise it nearly all swung on that incredibly bad decision for the first penalty. It was a clear foul on Rafael followed by him not barging the player or giving him an excuse as some have said but him running to the side of the player trying to get onto the ball when Vardy jumps sideways into Rafael and then drops to the ground. I can't believe people are blaming Rafael for that when he didnt move into Vardy at all, just ran alongside not jumping into a tackle but still conceding a penalty to one of the worst refereeing calls I've ever seen.
The second penalty, I wasnt looking out for the foul that people say was comitted on Blackett, seem to have missed that but the initial robbery of Mata showed naivety on Mata's part.
Other than that I think they did in general have the run of play in terms of decisions and definitely in the break of the ball but I think there are far too many people not giving them credit for how well their interpassing was up front, they made a lot of almost chances with players in good positions that didnt quite come to fruition. 5 goals dont come from nowhere, I think they genuinely played good attacking football at times.
That said I also dont agree with how many people say we were woeful defensively. I'd like those who said so to back them up with examples. I found that Rojo got caught with balls past him a few times, and once or twice I think Blind didnt track his player properly in the game. The rest I though were mainly bad luck in break of ball situations, which could perhaps have been dealt with by perfect positioning, but I dont think it was actually definite bad positioning at the same time.
Their first goal was a cross from as far out as possible in an almost out of play position (some have claimed it was definitely out, I dont know on that) which went perfectly to a head, which was in turn a great header pinpoint to the corner in a goal that would have come off 1 in 20 or less. Their third was a ball that was hit and deflected from a Utd player into the feet of a Leicester player who deflected it back again perfectly paced and positioned for the Leicester player facing goal, who then hit a great shot. How do you defend multiple fortunate ball breaks?
I think that game on the play of the teams would have been won by us at least 85 of 100 times, drawn another 5 or 10 and a loss for the rest. Not our day
