He's amazing but Romario fits Zico better. Plus I had him not so long ago, in the draft that I won, actually (lost him due to a random injury, iirc, had to play Van Basten later even though this guy was a better choice for the system)

Definitely underrated here (and everywhere else) though, fantastic player

Yeah, I agree Romario and Zico fit better. Actually I posted earlier that I thought it was right up there with Diego-Ronaldo (probably more so fit-wise) but I couldn't see Romario and Best working all that well, particularly when I was strongly considering having no one in the hole (yes, having no #10 in an all-time draft! that's what you do when others have already picked all the goodies, compete differently!).

This chap is an infinitely better fit in that case.

Fair enough if the rule changed. It opens up a can of worms though as that was without a shadow of a doubt the full NT playing at the premier international tourno at the time.

I've no problem with exploiting loopholes. I'm arguing it should be closed hereafter with a proper version of the truth because it's just not in the spirit of what that box is all about.

The Andrade pick is fine by the rules. In the spirit of the box, it shouldn't really be eligible given (a) the relative importance of football at the Olympics in the 1920s and (b) that he is the man who arguably defines that era more than anyone else.

Fair enough if the rule changed. It opens up a can of worms though as that was without a shadow of a doubt the full NT playing at the premier international tourno at the time.

How hard is it to just stick to a proper record that applies the rules on caps that were in force over time @Edgar Allan Pillow?

Yup, that list should really be the be-all and end-all given that they recorded all of the appropriate caps, but at this point in time, I don't know if EAP if up for another change in the rulings.
