Messi fits in perfectly well. I could have gone more muppet and gone for Pele or Maradona but decided I'd be sensible.

Don't worry about it mate. Although objectively speaking, I disagree completely.. think he's one of the worst as you have so many playmakers. It all depends on how you draft going forwards, because you have too many cooks in the kitchen..I think a striker would have been a better signing.

Loving this draft, one of the best ones imo. I think the amazing thing about it is that we can continue on making up new ideas for boxes and just redo it time and time again.

It's not for this thread but you'll see from the way I'm going to set up that a striker isn't of as much importance as Messi will be. Plus reuniting these two makes it even more deadly.

Yeah I've not played as many as some of you but from the ones I've played this and the sheep draft have been my favourites. I'd play another draft of this straight after this one just with different boxes it's been that much fun.

Disagree with that - Messi is clearly the stand out false #9 in the pool and imo I can't see him ever being matched in that role.

I expected him to pick Luis Ronaldo but I think this is a great pick as well.

The RW pool isn't as deep as the striker pool for what I need though. I can incorporate several different types of striker without losing the effectiveness of the team. The same can't be said for out wide.
