It's a game you join to timewaste between picks.
It consists of everyone calling you a wolf or an idiot and being right on at least one count.
I don't really understand it myself, and when I did look into the threads when it first started I thought it seemed like utter shite, but its got a huge following so each to their own. This is how the dear departed Ciderman explained it when he introduced it:

If you want to play then you'll need some serious free time.
It's a game where you are given a secret role before the game starts, either a wolf or a villager. Every night the village gets to lynch someone who they suspect is a wolf and afterwards the wolves get to kill one of the villagers. which ever group is the last remaining alive wins.

It's quality and certainly does kill time in between picks. I was involved in the one that's running now but got slaughtered 2nd round so now I only have this to focus on. On a night shift it's not good I need more to do!
