Yeah, I know about wiki in general, I was just quickly making sure that I didn't forget anyone as I mostly relied on my memory for that one. Needless to say, both sources let me down massively.

Yeah, remains to be seen if we can recover from the blow and get to par.. but it could potentially sabotage any chance we had of competing. The guys who lost Hansen, I mean.. do they really have a chance of coming back from it and competing against a Onenil? something to bear in mind when doing this draft in the future.

Well this was one of the intentions of the theme, luck playing a huge part in it and creating imbalance. There will be a lot of disparity in the end for sure and I think that's one of the main outcomes assured from the off.

It's great entertainment so that's that.

Randomizing dropped player at box 13 would've helped as there would always be a chance that you'd drop some of your standout players. A lesson for the future, I guess

Yeah another option could be that in box 1 you get to remove a player from any manager. Which would balance it out for sure as nobody wants to see a team be too superior.

Yeah something like that could work nicely.

For future Monopoly drafts could have a "Harry Redknapp Deadline Day card" (Like Community Chest) where the manager has to pick an additional player for that round from a pre-selected list of players (catch is that player has to play in the matches).

Or a "Lack of Birthday Cake upsets the player" card (maybe need to shorten the name :lol:) , where a player is automatically transferred to another team.

While waiting for our turn all I'm thinking about is new weird and wonderful ways to make the next draft an absolute head feck! haha.

If someone is unfortunate enough to land on box 13 a few times , that box should turn into a " pick any player from anyone's team" box, just for the sake of balance

That's wouldn't be in keeping with the getting fecked over spirit of the draft. It's not exactly a draft made to win it's just a laugh seeing who gets screwed the most.

I trust EAP and his reality TV watching experience to introduce crazy unpredictable balancing acts like wild cards and such as this goes on, specially now that we know @antohan is feeding him ideas behind the doors. :D

Well, that was the obvious pick for a side with Goofy and Xavi, a CB who can pass the ball expertly. With the added bonus of rubbing salt over the wounds for the Three Amigos, of course.

In terms of quality Souness was right up there though, no doubt.

He's on the slow side tho, and most of the forwards that will no doubt get picked can expose him. Besides that leaves me with finding a specific type of stopper to pair him with.

Will be a tough draft in terms of balance. Souness at least with his passing game and enforcing style is closest to what I've imagined as a midfield partner to Xavi, albeit again having to restructure a bit.
