Yes.. But with few teams have a beast of a #10, as opposed to most drafts, I'd say a destroyer is much less necessary in this draft. It doesn't mean Dunga is not a brilliant pick it just means most setups won't require a destroyer.

I thought Mascherano would be gone by round 4 max.. didn't pick him myself due to restrictions. Great team Staldo

We thought about him but due to it's league peak and he played like 99% of the games as CB while at Barca decided to pass on him.

I disagree. I think he's quite a bit underrated as a centerback though and I think he played often enough in midfield in his first 2 seasons that you can play him in both positions.

Well we will have to agree to disagree then. I think purely as a CB he can be exposed a lot by proper number 9, imagine he comes up against Drogba and has to stop him from scoring a header.

He is at his best at shutting down counters, something that traditionally sitting DMs have done for their teams. At Barca, the set up allows him to play at least the first role for the majority of the match. Rest of the time, he is part of the reason why Barca look so vulnerable at the back when a team is able to attack them for a sustained period of time.

He produced a masterclass in the World Cup as a DM too. I know this is about league form, but its quite obvious he was the same player with the same skillset for club and country at that time, and was just used differently at club level.
