Maicon???! Hmmmm, went from a world beater to third choice right back at man city in no time at all.
Wow I was just about to pick an ineligible player..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gheorghe_PopescuWell you gotta tell us who it was now
Why is he ineligible?
Pick him and you will find outWhy is he ineligible?
Wait are players who played in all 3 leagues not banned?
Why you no tell me?
Team @crappycraperson also looks quite tasty.@Gio you got a nice team building up there
Thanks Viva. A number of teams look good, last 3 picks will make or break most teams I reckonTeam @crappycraperson also looks quite tasty.

After? He was/is okay at best for Roma, nothing close to his Inter levelYes, he was fabulous before and after his short City experience. Injuries & adaptation issue may explain that.
I think Thiago Silva can suffer from a modern-day-defenders-aren't-what-they-used-to-be brush, but he's very complete, has held his own against the top attackers of this era, and his influence is such that the Brazilian back line turns into a quivering wreck in his absence.

And boy he did.No player had his reputation ruined over 2 games as badly as Maicon after Bale roasted him in CL tie.
No dark cloud mate, he was fantastic throughout the tournament and sat out the humiliation against Germany due to yellow cards, if that was true I can equally say Neymar's 2014 WC was a dark cloud, which obviously wasn't as he was superb before getting injured. The only dark cloud: the 2014 WC.

Shit! Shit! Shit!
He hung that defence together when Brazil were repeatedly under the cosh against Croatia, Chile and Colombia. You could have driven a double-decker bus through it when he had to sit in the stand for the semi. There is no denying a Thiago Silva in a good shape could be part of the starting 11 of any team. A World-Class Player.

So mate I can't understand what you mean by "dark cloud" in terms of his 2014 WC? He was pivotal to their success until he stupidly got one too many yellow cards, which led to Brazil's defence, without their leader, to suffer one of the most humiliating loss in WC history. If that doesn't point his greatness rather than being a "dark cloud" I don't know what does. You are talking to a big fan of Thiago Silva

Aye right enough - though I'd wipe that one under the carpet, what with it being a relatively meaningless game in the grand scheme of things. He wasn't great against the Netherlands to be fair, out-muscled by Van Persie and out-paced by Robben in the first five minutes to give away a penalty, which set the tone for another very nervous performance at the back for Brazil.
Great defender though and a good pick by viva.

Did you turn off at halftime? After the 5-0 thrashing you were expecting Brazil to come back with some sort of performance but that didn't happen.
