It's like Sevilla have gone into this half with zero tactics. The space they're giving these guys is suicidal.

With it only being 1-2 (mental that Barca don't have more), I think there's still something there for Sevilla if they can assemble a little more quality in the final third.

You can't stop the game to change a boot. If anything you play on and let him do what he wants.

Neymar signing his new contract must mean he's happy being the third wheel at Barca.

How the hell did ref add only 3 mins? The whole Messi incident alone took about 2 mins. Farce

Some GOT actors at the game, they are shooting somewhere in Spain I believe

I am extremely disappointed in sevilla; to follow up a phenomenal first half with that awful mental collapse at second half is unacceptable. And not be able to beat a barcelona side that is hurt and not playing well, as we even had the advantage of being home, is a big disappointment. It was as usual the world class tridente up front that made the difference. Whereas we struggle with having no distinguished striker, they can evidently have 5-6 underperforming players and still get 3p, thanks to MSN. I would have preferred being outclassed, than to give away 45 minutes.

A week ago, I thought we wouldn't win tonight, but just before tonight's game I believed there is no better opportunity to beat barca. We blew it.

I believe Sarabia's action of back heeling the ball when being 1 v 1 with ter stegen personifies the game.

All cred to Mascherano, as usual a giant. Except for MSN, he is the only one who seem maintain quality worthy their ambitions. However, to not beat this barcaside...especially after our first half; it just sucks.

Congrats to all the barca fans in here; 6p from valencia and sevilla away is sweet.

On another day it could've easily been 3-0 to Sevilla or 3-3... crazy, chaotic game of football that was.

Sergio Rico made some brilliant saves, Mariano, Escudero, Sarabia and Vietto were all great I thought. Nzonzi great 1st half, disappeared in the 2nd. Vitolo the most dangerous and direct but just not able to finish it off.

For Barça, Mascherano was indeed a one-man defense at times. Messi unplayable 2nd half. Neymar the mirror image of Vitolo.

They played a good 1st half but out of nowhere (and probably offside too) Barca equalize. After that they lost themselves, 2nd half was probably down to fatigue.

They had their chances to score more. Even with the barca goal, it was no excuse for the way they just completely lost their way tactically in the second half.

I agree, right from the start of the second half Barca was eating up Sevilla. Sevilla became better after 1-2, but not as good as in the first half. Maybe it was a combination of Luis Enrique adjusting few things, as Sevilla's spirit and momentum was killed because of the equaliser. The enrgy was not the same after that, and it was evident that Sevilla is a team full of new signings and many young players, hence the naivity at some moments during the game. But the positioning of the players were all over the place in most of the first 15-20 minutes of second half, and Barca easily took advantage of that.

Speaking of something else; there was a situation where Messi seemed to have lost his balance, but then regained the ball control, dribbled through 3-4 defenders like a thunder bolt, before shooting it over. Can't get that situation out of my head, would have been an amazing goal, but was very relieved it went over. Well, it doesn't matter now since they won anyway.

No one is looking for excuses, just saying that it wasn't for them at all. There is a psychological struggle when facing these big teams, sometimes others teams who are in good position in terms of scoreline and performance just lose their marble, like they don't fully believe in themselves.

Sevilla played an incredible first half. The players were so calm under pressure and the tactics were spot on. In the attack before Barca equalized, Vitolo should have scored. Everything went tits up after the 1:1.Annoying, but oh well. Shit happens. In the end Barca deserve the three points. Messi and Neymar are imba.

You guys were really intense the first half, there was no way you could have kept that up and as long as Barcelona were within touching distance they were going to win. Playing N'Zonzi as the only out and out CM, Nasri was the closest to N'Zonzi and he was getting bypassed for fun.

Did Neymar really survive pushing the Granada player down the stairs and got away with it?? I see no talk about suspension or fine about it. Disgraceful if true..

Kroos out for 2 months :nervous: .Rubén Baraja new coach of Rayo and Caparrós favorite to go to Osasuna
