Ronaldo will get Ballon D'Or for being second fiddle to Eder in Portugal, being a passanger in all UCL games and now not even scoring his trademark tap-in against Eibar at home. Let that sink in..

You could tell the Eibar players were playing for their next meal - were so hungry and driven that whole match.

Also, Real have some players they really need to shift, but no one is going to pay for. They want £50-60m for James and Morata, but I wouldnt pay anywhere near that for either. They've got to start thinking about how they're going to replace Ronaldo, which wont be easy given their transfer ban.

Real's football under Zidane was always quite bad (with a few exceptions), but at least the results were good. When that doesn't work anymore too, there really is not much left.

Seems like the international break came at the right time for us.

Indeed it has. I'd say it'll still be another couple of weeks after that until Casemiro and Modric are ready to play again though.

Always knew Zidane was a flop of a manager.

Hell of a player, but, never a good manager.

RDM won Chelsea a double with a shit Chelsea squad. Being a caretaker for someone's team and playing uber conservative football and lucking out in the Champs League.

Real Madrid should never draw 4 games in a row, especially when none of them are against bayern/barca/atl.

He will get sacked this season.

So w8 you're telling me that Real with all their great players cant win against minnows because they miss 2 midfielders ?? :wenger::lol:

How? He won the Champs League despite not having a full season. I wish we (Utd) could appoint flops like that. Instead we've had three managers, and two non-Champs League finishes, and risk a third this season. Real should stick with Zidane, he could build a legacy there, if given the time and the funds. I remember Barca fans were getting on Enrique's back in his first season (after Moyes beat him incidentally) and he went on to win the treble.

They had the easiest CL run in decades and still relied on an offside goal in the final to get to penalties which they eventually won. Not really that impressive when you look at the context.

Zidane deserves a lot of credit for turning a horrible season around and winning the CL title, no matter how scrappy that was at times. I'd call that impressive. He was the right man for that job, but so far he hasn't shown to be the right man to make them take the next step. Getting a team back on track and building from there are two different challenges.

When you lose Casemiro and Modric but have the likes of James, Kovacic and Isco available you shouldn't draw 4 games in a row. A poor streak but it happens. Barca had a poor streak last season as well.

Athletic let a golden opportunity slip there... from 0-1 to 2-1 in two minutes. They could've been equal on pts with Atléti and RM if they had held on.

Being down to 10 men from 36 minute made it difficult. What a shit weekend.

Yeah, I know, but it's just that Málaga looked clueless for so long as what to do with their numerical superiority that makes it feel like such a missed chance for the Basques. Especially to concede two in such a short time.

Bad couple of minutes. I like their RB De Marcos. Recorded the game against Vienna on Thursday and watched it last night. He is a real threat going forward.

Celta all over the catalans atm.

Looking very similar to last season's thumping at Balaídos at the moment. No Nolito or Orellana either. Impressive. If there's two teams Barça seem to regularly struggle against it's Real Sociedad at Anoeta and Celta in recent years.

2-0!! Aspas!

More easy victories this week for Barcelona and Real Madrid....

2-0, Iago Aspas. He's just a completely different animal at Celta. What a finish, what a goal!

edit: ha, I seem to be behind... told ya it looked similar @Vato :D
