La Liga - 2014/15

Isn't marca a newspaper?

Yeah, but they're also the ones giving out the Pichichi award for the top scorer in La Liga, which has led to such farcical situations as the LFP, RFEF, UEFA and ESM (magazines that hand out the European Golden Boot) noting seasons where they have Cristiano on 40 goals as opposed to Marca's 41, and Messi on 50 v Marca's 49.

Cristiano celebrating Bale's first goal

David Navarro hasn´t killed anyone. Strange. That´s the real story

There´s a clear deflection on Bale. Always looked like his goal to me

Yeah looked extremely clear from real time, typical Sky commentators complicating everything up to the point of self-delusion, trying to come up with explanations that either favour Barça/RM or Messi/Cristiano. It's absurd.

Gerry Armstrong was even trying to claim several times that in the 1st goal Cristiano's shot went over the line.

 It's like seeing Drogba 'getting killed' in the slightest contact. You're so used to it, now we can laugh at it.

Bale, 7 shots, 0 key passes
Cristiano, 6 shots, 1 key pass (and that was the assist for 2-0, which was actually also a shot :D)

Benzema, 0 shots, 2 key passes.... sucks to be him

Ronaldo really is such a wanker on the pitch. Bales just after over hitting a cross and Ronaldo throws his arms in the air moaning like a bitch

Who do you suppose throws their arms up at that Cristiano cross just now? Don't even know who that was aimed for it was so overhit

Messi overtaking his goal tally has taken a toll on him....

Poor Xumetra, all that effort and then incorrectly ruled that the ball went out of play by the linesman (and it wasn't even close, ball stopped before the line not even on it)... I'd be pissed

Yeah, sure, except that his drop in form is (partially) what resulted in Messi catching up and overtaking him in the first place, not the cause of it. Nothing much's changed in that department in the last three months, it's not something recent.

Lack of Casillas makes this game less interesting

The official overtaking of his goal tally in la liga is a recent fact. Might have hit home more than just the 'threat' of it happening when Messi was eating away at his advantage.

It seems the Bruno Mars fan club is at the Bernabeu tonight, behind the Levante bench.

Hmm, actually I see I totally messed that up, my original comment should read: Cristiano's drop in form isn't a result of Messi overtaking him in goals, but the cause.
