La Liga - 2014/15

Scandalous performance from Ronaldo and Bale.

Is the Calderon the only stadium in Spain with an atmosphere?

That's beautiful, the Atletico fans have brought the flags back out for the end of the match, that's nice.

No, there are a few others, but the Calderón is great yeah.

There's only one manita Atleti

Great game from Simeone's men. Whoever said Klopp did a better job with Dortmund is wrong.

Completely disagree. Every team that has won UCL that I can remember (bar Bayern on 2013) has been lucky (at some stage) to go to the next round (or win the final).
Fair enough. But they beat Monaco in the final ffs. Had they gone brought last season's competition or the one before that one then sure. But the field was a bit poor that year. They beat us, Lyon, deportivp and Monaco on their way to winning. I can't call that one of the greatest achievements I've seen in club football, and I've not even watched all that much football.

Griezmann my man of the match but the entire Atlético team were fantastic. Simeone too.

It was a weak year, but still no other team as underdog as them (no-one would have put them even in top 5 - top 8 favorites before the season started) has won it. I fail to see how Pep's treble with Barca (which had many world class players) is more impressive, especially considering that they cheated Chelsea on their way to the final. On the other side, Mourinho would have gone to extra time vs us if referee wouldn't have ruled that goal of Scholes offside. But nowhere compared to what Ovrebo did to Chelsea in 2009.

Definitely. Without exageratting, it could have easily been 6-0 or 8-0.

Brilliant from Atletico especially considering they often get a bit of criticism for not being attacking enough compared to their rivals at the top.

Really? Incredible result for Atletico, will give them a massive boost in the title race.

Yup, Griezmann was one on one but it was given offside when he was on and they should've had a penalty in the first half.

How did we beat them 3 times in a row?? I still can't believe we won against these guys 3 times this season, they are a tough tough nut..

I would consider guardiola creating possibly the greatest club team ever anyday above mourinho's cl win. Same with dortmund winning bundesliga or hyckes taking Bayern to those heights. I see them as more substantial whereas I feel moruinho did very well and got the rub of the green in a way.

And cup runs always have a big amount of luck imvolved and the main part of what moruinho did was winning the cl. Klopp taking dortmund from x point to y point whilst playing sexual football is something that appeals to me a lot more.

That's true but Atletico's run last season beating Barca and Chelsea alone was more impressive than Porto winning the CL that year.

I don't even think Simeone is getting enough credit for what he's done there. Especially turning a team of cowardly serial losers in the derby into a side humping the most expensive side in the world.

Raped. Atleti - Real 10-3 so far this season. 3 wins 1 draw.

They've played each other 6 times now, guessing you haven't included either the Copa del Rey or Supercopa games. Real Madrid haven't won any.

It's astonishing what he's done at that club.

It is, i don't think people really grasp how spectacular it is in the modern era. I really wish they had hung on for 30 more seconds in the CL, winning the CL final with their best player going off injured so early really would have been one of the greatest achievements in top level football.

The fact he lost Falcao, then lost Costa and still has them doing what they're doing is phenomenal. He really should have been world coach of the year, and he is imo at this moment the best coach in the world.

I heard it took 81 minutes for Real Madrid to get a shot on target.
It was debatable, Moya tipped it over but for me it looked over the bar.

Only Copa del Rey and La Liga, not the Super cup, but made a mistake 9-2 g/d. If we include SC it's 11-3 with 4 wins and 2 draws.

The stats...
