La Liga - 2014/15

What a difference having a striker with pace can make. Who'd have thought?

Everything just works for them tonight, they've been tremendous, it has to be said.

You guys can't even get near the ball and when you do they close you down so quickly. It's so hard to play against.

Simeone is undoubtedly the best manager in the world. What he did with the amount of net spend in transfers, building a team like that i don't think any other manager could have done that. Greatest managerial achievement in modern football imo.

Biggest achievement is surely Torres into a good player no ?

Agree. The closest I can think of is Mourinho winning UCL (in fact the entire treble) with Porto.

From what I've seen of both of them, Laporte is a lot less error prone than Varane.

Watching this game i can't imagine De Gea as a goalkeeper for Real. There is simply too much hate between these clubs, and i doubt he would do anything that could turn Atletico fans against him.

Costa isn't slow.
He isn't very quick either.

It's good to have pace. I don't see how this has made a difference to atletico though. Also they highlight how team work and cohesion matters if anything.

Can't remember the last time Real haven't had a single shot on target for like 80 mins.

It's been 6 games without a win for us.

CL title is so last year, and that is also a game we didn't manage to win in 90 minutes.

Although no Real players have really played well, what I've seen from Bale has been utter shit.

To be honest I don't remember such a one sided game between top 4 teams in EPL.

Not even when Arsenal were getting their ass handed to them last season by Chelsea and Liverpool?
