La Liga - 2014/15

Incredible pass from Messi, a sitter for Neymar but he can't even time it right and totally misses the ball

Piquenbauer. Cleaver by Barca players, why do their opponents always buy this shit.

What does Messi have to do for some of his team mates to scores of his passes?? No wonder his assists are "less" :wenger:

It's been like that for ages though. Even when his team mates werent as dour as they are now everyone used to keep missing chance after chance from his passes.

It's really all Messi as far as chance creation goes... nothing happens when he isn't on the ball. Another great ball that almost results in a goal, but great intervention from the Elche GK.

Messi's creative passing is ridiculous as is barca's inability to finish them off.

Did neymar dive? Didn't see the replay but didn't look like much contact.

Brilliant through ball from Xavi, that was the Xavi of 2008-11 again  excellent save again from Tyton, on Pedro

That's why I'll never rate Barca forwards just based on stats(not counting Messi of course). Neymar is having excellent season stats wise yet his finishing has been more shit than good in many games I saw them. Messi puts chance after chance on plate for Neymar and Suarez and they just keep missing(especially Suarez).

Btw, I think they could actually use some other type of forward these days when Messi is playing that deep. They could use forward ala van Persie from few years back who relies on his movement, hold up play and finishing instead of dribbling, pace, etc. Messi lacks true goalscorer upfront IMO.

Finally a pass from Messi that Neymar can't miss. Excellent finish to be fair to Neymar.

Ohh, Messi gets an assist. Messi penalty, someone else scoring from a Messi pass, so many things in one match

Oh wow. Stop it Messi, that's far too good.

And again, good finish by Neymar too.

Two great assists and two great finishes in quick succession from resp. Messi and Neymar.
