An undeserved win. Ronaldo can thank his teammates and Bale for sparing his blushes. He played terrible and his stupidity and arrogant behaviour could have proved very costly. Bale did very well to both win the penalty and to have scored it under such immense pressure and the team showed great attacking intent and character late on once Ronaldo went off and that deserves credit. A lot of teams would have crumbled in such circumstances (like Madrid did last season vs Athletic Bilbao away in another game where Ronaldo got sent off) but this team didn't. Performances have to pick up but these are the games you have to win if you want the title. Atletico won them last year and Madrid didn't. It bodes well for Madrid that they can win atm in games where they are not playing well.
