La Liga - 2014/15

To be fair, Barca scoreline was similar to few Madrid games this season where the goal tally was bloated towards the end of the game due to opposition team not caring much.

Edit: 3rd for Atletico.

Griezmann really on fire tonight... for the most part it's been him v Toño.

Ooh, Rayo so nearly pull one back again... sublimely weighted through ball from Trashorras which Pozuelo just can't fully connect with.

How many goals has Griezmann got this season? Seems like whenever I check Atletico's scorers he seems to be on there a lot.

13 in all comps, 10 in the league. Had a slow start, scored 7 in the last month.

Could've had his hat-trick just now, incredible performance from him. All alone in his own half dribbles through 3 Rayo defenders and gets a very measured shot off, which rebounds straight off the post. How unlucky.

edit: and again, now he unselfishly plays Torres in when they're 2v1 and Torres mucks it up by not getting past the keeper or reversing for a Griezmann tap-in..; though to be fair goalie Toño has been great all night as well and did great there reading Torres' intention.

Next up, a Basque affair, Real Sociedad v Eibar. Villarreal hosting Levante at the same time.

What a tackle from Íñigo Martínez! Denies a very clear cut chance on an excellent counter from Eibar.

I much prefer the Barca with Pedro/Munir as a winger doing dirty work and Messi giving Neymar through balls. This set up gave Barça the 1st position, and then Luis Enrique out of the blue puts in Suarez in the Clasico and changed the whole team. Shocking decision imo.

The last time Munir was good was in September.

Hah, La Real and Villa-Real both open the scoring, a minute apart, through Xabi Prieto and Vietto (his 9th league goal already!) respectively.

Valencia play Sevilla in 10 minutes. Should be a good game, important in the race for 4th too.

Poor Athletic dropped more points today, close to the relegation zone again now.

Nearly 1-0 to Valencia already. Someone in midfield played a lovely pass in the build up, didn't catch who though.

Sevilla cheat their way to a penalty and want the Valencia player sent off. It's good for the game though. 2-1.

Not sure about that penalty, less obvious than the Valencia one.

2-1 now
