Can see City being interested. They have no wide players.
Welcome Mbappe!!Best he sticks with one of the circus clubs.
No, no, no; we're a theme park, not a circus.Welcome Mbappe!!
Sorry mate maybe I am being blind but I don't see it being a contractual obligation in the article.
What power? They have money and power. I'm sure they'll find a way to persuade him.
Yeah they stretched their wage structure for Salah, they’re definitely going to at least double it again for Mbappe. Can see him at Liverpool too.
Incredible how much power this player has. He’s a very good player but the cost and drama created simply isn’t worth it. Anyone wanting this drama Queen near United is mad. He’s precisely why PSG haven’t won the Champions League. No player is bigger than the club or manager. The fact he can make decisions on club’s transfers is mental.
I am struggling to see what Mbappe has done wrong here.PSG had this coming, but Mbappe is showing his true colours.
They're literally saying we will sell you to wherever you want to go right now and he's saying no because of that stupid bonus.
I complain about Sancho comfortably taking home 350k a week pre-tax, but this is another level. As good Mbappe is, I'd hope United would never do something as stupid as offering absolute power in an Mbappe-like situation. All parties look stupid, but in the end you question why any club would hamstrung themselves like this.
I just meant that they're the kind of club that would sell everything else down the river for one season of fumbling around with a "superstar".Yeah they stretched their wage structure for Salah, they’re definitely going to at least double it again for Mbappe.
This is one of those rumours deluded Liverpool fans have somehow manifested into a credible rumour when it’s far far from it.
That sounds far more like Woodward’s United than anything Liverpool have been guilty of tbhI just meant that they're the kind of club that would sell everything else down the river for one season of fumbling around with a "superstar".
I said in my post that I think it might be contractual. I am speculating. Not an expert in contract law but in a case like this, I would guess the employer would want ample time (in this case a year) as a notice period to allow them get a fee for him. Since the player has a veto on the optional year.Sorry mate maybe I am being blind but I don't see it being a contractual obligation in the article.
My badNo, no, no; we're a theme park, not a circus.

Ronaldo's prime and talent is exaggerated to no end by his fans. He was a great footballer but to say that Mbappe isn't atleast as good a footballer is not true. They were happy to feed his ego. This is the result.
He's not even on young Messi / CR7's level.
I dont see that as being likely personally. If it were contractual he'd have stated or it would have been leaked that this was the reason.I said in my post that I think it might be contractual. There was something similar with Messi and Barca.
To do what to mbappe exactly? The power of a nation state
Sold his soul to move to PSG when he had his pick of clubs while at Monaco.
This is what you get when you join a sports washing project in a farmers league, for money, over your career.
I recall was it two seasons ago he was going to leave and they strong armed into an extension which they paraded about online like it was some show of loyalty and not because they threatened his family/paid him £2m a week.
They are all acting like petulant children, Mbappe included, it is a whole circus show.Mbappe is the winner here. He has billionaires acting like petulant children. Mbappe holds all the leverage.
To do what to mbappe exactly?
Ronaldo's prime and talent is exaggerated to no end by his fans. He was a great footballer but to say that Mbappe isn't atleast as good a footballer is not true.
In terms of attributes: Mbappe is more explosive, a better dribbler and passer. Ronaldo was a better goalscorer, better at freekicks, better at longshots and much better in the air.
Interms of performances, Mbappe has done much better individually for France than Ronaldo ever did for Portugal. Although Ronaldo played in an Inferior team.
At club level, comparisons are more difficult. Mbappe plays in an Inferior league for by far its best club (that is run very poorly and has a eelatively poor mid and defence). Ronaldo played in one of the 2 best teams in one of the best leagues and had a better team (midfield and defence) behind him. Mbappe has given some great performances against big teams in the ucl (Barcelona, Bayern) to suggest he can.
All in all, Mbappe may never have the club career that Ronaldo had but he isn't an Inferior footballer to Ronaldo at any age. Ronaldo's greatness is about his numbers, success, longevity more than anything else he did on the pitch.
Where do you think his numbers, greatness and longevity was achieved if not on the fecking pitch?Ronaldo's prime and talent is exaggerated to no end by his fans. He was a great footballer but to say that Mbappe isn't atleast as good a footballer is not true.

PSG were desperate when he signed his last deal and gave him those terms. They could easily have accepted Madrid’s bid. They gave him the option to veto the +1 and also promised him a ridiculous amount of money to see out his penultimate year.
He has done nothing wrong.
This is Manchester UnitedWe need a huge name to shift shirts.
This is absolute nonsense and genuinely reads like a 12 year old comparing a current day Ronaldo with a current day Mbappe, having not seen the greatest years of Ronaldo’s career.Ronaldo's prime and talent is exaggerated to no end by his fans. Arsenal fans are trying to do the same with Mbappe as well now.Yeah they stretched their wage structure for Salah, they’re definitely going to at least double it again for Mbappe.
This is one of those rumours deluded Liverpool fans have somehow manifested into a credible rumour when it’s far far from it.
We had Borthwick-Jackson which is one of the hugest names in PL history, but I doubt he sold many shirts. We need a huge name to shift shirts.

LiesNah Mbappe has a lot to prove to be considered among Ronaldo's level for me it's the old clique but that league is a joke, Ronaldo in his prime for a club like PSG would be scoring 80 goals a season, I mean he was scoring 60+ in Spain
I have. Infact I have followed his career since his debut for United. This is absolute nonsense and genuinely reads like a 12 year old comparing a current day Ronaldo with a current day Mbappe, having not seen the greatest years of Ronaldo’s career.
No doubting his goalscoring ability but Mbappe has more UCL goals and world cup goals than Ronaldo at 24. He may not achieve as much or become the greater footballer but is atleast as good a footballer everything considered.Where do you think his numbers, greatness and longevity was achieved if not on the fecking pitch?
You’re objectively wrong, Mbappe as of now is nowhere near the levels Ronaldo reached. I’m not engaging this anymore it’s just comical that you’ve made one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever seen on this forum, which in itself is impressive, and are doubling down on it.Lies

I have always maintained that Ronaldo lacked that "on the ball genius" that players like Messi, R9, Ronaldinho possessed. His goalscoring and longevity has elevated his status a great deal.
This is Manchester United
Mbappe agreed to a contract. As did the club. At the end of the day, Mbappe leaving on a free or not is irrelevant. That’s his choice.
