I would love to know how this kid is worth 100m and how nobody here seems to have a problem with it?

We were getting mugged off all season by rival fans for spending 90m on Pogba. One of the worlds best CMs and yet Mbappe has been good for like half a season and he's suddenly worth every penny. Have to laugh at Liverpool fans wanting him especially after all the shit talk they had about Pogba's price.

Seriously he's a decent player but these prices are making Pogba look cheap. Morata for 80m is also fecking madness.

The discussion has been done already. Rich clubs rate him and Monaco don't need or want to sell.

Never been as impressed by him as the resident french caf posters and the 50 trucks full of sheep on their way to lala land. He will probably become a solid 20-25 goals a season player, but never the new Ronaldo or whatever and I'm not sure he is the most talented of the new French kids either. Dembele impresses me more.

Only over existed people compare him to Ronaldo, Mbappé is impressive for his age and he is the most impressive in recent times among french players.

Supply and demand. Just like every commodity on earth.

don't you mean baa baa land :D

If CR7 is getting booed, I can't fathom what they'd do to Mbappe if he doesn't hit the ground running right off the bat, even then.

Players get booed because they don't show commitment on the pitch.
Ronaldo get's booed when he just stands around, throws tantrums and argues with his team mates for not passing him the ball but does zero work off the ball.
If a player shows 100% commitment on the pitch, he won't get booed.

I don't think he's struggling with the concept of supply and demand. It's a question of the rationale behind the demand.
Top clubs have been chasing him for over 5yrs now, safe to say the rationale is him being quality coupled with the fact that it's now or never for most clubs when it comes to getting him.

Fellaini might argue with that one

The top clubs will have been monitoring him for a lot longer than that and would have been very aware of his potential. The half of a good season just marked the point where they were pushed to move for him rather than the point they decided he was a quality talent in the first place.

Just the same way Rooney was £30m or so as an 18 year old 13 years ago when that was monster money

When a wonderkid breaks through you see it, and you need to get hold of them.

I have said the same thing in the Transfer Tweets thread. He deserves nothing more than 70m Euros. He has had just one good season.
Morata's price increased because we are in desperate need of a striker. Real know we are cornered as Griezmann is not coming and Belotti, a lesser known striker, is also equally expensive. They are just trying to get the best deal in the current scenario.

As for Mbappe, I am quite certain he will not live up to the expectations people have of him. People will then call him a flop for no fault of the kid. He is a good striker no doubt, but not the superstar that everyone is expecting him to be.

It's a gut feeling thing you have, right?

It's a detail but Mbappé has been playing at an extremely high level in the last six months but he was good for almost a year before that. Which is why a year ago, I was saying that Ounas was overrated and someone like Mbappé was better.

He has a nice contract offer from Monaco, it's now time for him to decide his future.

I hope he stays in L1, be it in Monaco or Paris.

sure sure :lol::lol::lol:
It's realistic. Stays for a year, plays the world cup and then makes the big move while earning a feck tonne for a year as a reward. Pretty much like Greizmann only for different reasons.

No chance mate. If he leaves Monaco it will be to those paella eating putos in Madrid.

Not especially directed at you but it's funny how everyone is taking the Marca propaganda for granted while there's litterally not a single quote linking him with a Madrid move. Listening to his interviews he's made sure not to bite to any of the numerous baits involving RM.

It's all based on hearsay mostly originating from RM journos and speculation about posters pinned on his bedroom years ago.

It's probably because Marva are usually the mouthpiece for Madrid.

Nothing about Madrid gets printed in Marca without the say so of Perez.

Justifying Ronaldo getting booed. As deluded as they come.

I meant i'm sure it would make no difference to a PSG fan whether he stays at monaco or moves to PSG

Obviously I'd prefer Kylian to come home in Paris but I'm sick of seeing the best French talents being poached without even playing a few years in L1. Like the spineless Rennes president sold Dembélé last year after 20 appearences without even getting a half decent fee and comensating the loss.

Liverpool have registered their interest, according to Sky.

Which is a bit like me asking to be kept informed the next time Margot Robbie dumps her boyfriend.

What does that have to do with anything I said?

Absolutely everything. On the pitch everything evolves around him. He's paired with Benzema who doesn't play as a striker, he has no defensive duties, he too often shoots when there's someone next to him in a much better position.
It's impossible to receive more from the club, so when he starts acting like a petulant child for no apparent reason he get's booed. It's a two way street, but fanboys are all the same. You just don't get it, but it's OK. No one expects you to..

 I'll just listen to you then.

Looks like Real are gonna take the money we give them for Morata and go and buy the most exciting youngster in Europe.

That's exactly what's going to happen IMO. I think it's too early for this move. I don't see any of the BBC leaving, and with Marco Asensio coming of age and being decisive, added with the pressure not just on the player but management to play a $140M player....It's a lot of cogs to fit in the system and keep happy, even with a heavy rotation.

When was the last time real madrid developed a youngster into world beater? He will be instantly judged and thats huge pressure on 18 year old kids.
