It's pretty clear Benzema is still a good player, and CR7 will move to be a central striker eventually once his legs slow down. We can probably match them in the market, but I suppose if he wants Madrid then there's only so much we can do. I pray to God he just stays for one or more seasons as I think its unpresedented for a player to move straight after his 1st full season, especially straight into the fire of a big club and for a ridiculous fee. I think his preference for Madrid has been exaggerated; in any case it seems that the presence of Zidane, Cristiano + his previous experience training in Madrid when he was 14 can give us some extra points if we have to bid with other teams.

If Higuaín cost 90 million € with his age, then it is reasonable that Mbappe is above 100. It is a risk, but if we do not take it some other team will.

Young strikers like Mbappe historically do not go to RM at a young age. Ok, there has to be exceptions but i don't think Madrid spend this kind of money on young strikers.
