For FFP I think transfers and wages are automatically amortized even if they were paid in one go or a couple of installments. Loan makes it possible for them to only include wages without including transfer fee, which is crucial because from the reports his wage is small compared to his fee.Interesting way around FFP. I wonder how far ahead you could agree to make the payment? Could they sign 5 players at 150 million each and pay over the next 5 years whilst "loaning" them in the mean time?
Closer to half a season€180m, that's close to Neymar money for a kid that has 1 season under his belt. Crazy.
PSG has now showed its full arsenal of weapons. Impossible to compete with really. That money is not even a fraction of the interest they earn on a year from that oil fund. They could buy Messi a hundred times and it wouldn't even make a daily fluctuation on that money. Current net worth is €280,545,360,529. How can any club compete with that?
The boring thing is that a whole generation of amazing players with just play backyard football and never get to compete at the highest stage. Watching a CL game here and there is CRAP.
Converted it from dollars. From where did you get that number ?
If he's fit i'd take Pastore in a heartbeatI would rather try to sign Pastore or Verratti if I wanted someone from them.
I think they are making plans to lure guardiola to their club when he's done with city.
Yup. Transfer fee will kick in from next year, so they have more time to increase revenue to avoid breaching FFP. Fantastic job all around by PSG creating the conditions to get Neymar and Mbappé without(probably) breaching FFPPSG going for the loopholes to get Mbappe this summer then. According to one journo this loan to buy option will save them €36m in the next FFP period
There's no special rivalry between Monaco and PSG and many players moved from ASM to Paris in past.Very ratty for Mbappe. I think it gets disguised a bit by the British media because the scene isn't set in our country. Moving from Monaco to PSG, after the former gave the platform for him to thrive on is a massive slap in the face.
I doubt he'll ever be worth that money. Spending that amount after one good season - crazy.
I agree with the overall point but Mbappe dreaming of Real was Marca doing a Marca. The photo of him having a bunch of posters of Ronaldo showed he was a fan of Ronaldo. There's a lot more chance that he's dreamed of playing for the city of his birth rather than a foreign club. These arguments about boyhood clubs and posters in the room needs to stop now, When you play its all about the money.
Can't for the revolutionary to have Mbappe and Neymar as full backs and Alves in CMLike another poster said I can definitely seeing Pep going to PSG after City. Typical move from him.

Mbappe is going to be paid more than Suarez, Ibrahimovic, Pogba, etc, at age 18. To be fair, if I was in his position, there's no way I'm turning that offer down. Money talks.

Just look up the Qatar fundsWhere did you get the dollar number from?
