PSG official: Do you have a scoop for today?
Thomas Meunier: I think I have one. I have contacts on @lequipedusoir TV set. First clue: the letter M. Am I right?

Anoouncement at 12:30 (in a few minutes). Stay connected.

Journos don't wait to break actual news. If you ever see "exciting news coming up!!!!!" it's bollocks.

Di Maria will probably be surplus to requirements. If he hadn't already come to United he would have been the perfect player. Such a shame it didn't work out because he's the type of winger we've been missing.

Would be madness if Mbappe goes to PSG. Fecking Neymar & Mbappe in 1 transferwindow.

I wish him the career of Loic Rémy.:)

Football fans are so bitter and ill-intentioned :annoyed:

You should thank him for the 180 millions that will strengthen your financial power in the long run.

Got "She cannee take the strain captn". Are we signing Mmmbop?! :P

What is going on with this transfer? Why has it not been made official?

The French transfer deadline is Friday. Just seems odd why they haven't announced it yet.

Be funny if Monaco win the league after all this. FFP is officially dead people.

Why's that? PSG haven't spent considerably more than united or city have so far when you consider sales, and they will sell some more until January

Then next summer they will sign Mbappé and we'll see if they can afford him by march 2019. Honestly, saying FFP is dead because one club was smarter/better in the market than everyone else....calm down and wait

United have spent money that they earned through football. If you can't see anything shady in the Neymar deal and then this, I can't say anything more. Of course this is all legal, but it's been done by exploiting loopholes in FFP.

It's all great laughing at Barca right now, but this will definitely happen more and more to all the big historic clubs. Do you really think that Madrid, United etc. can match the money of a club owned by a country?

FFP rules, owner can't account for more than 30% of club's revenue. So 70% of PSG's money is earned.

Like I said, it is 'earned'. But are the sponsors really legit? Like I said, they are not breaking FFP, but just exploiting its loopholes.

You're right.

FFP is like an "accounting test" with a focus on the P&L statement.

From a legal and accounting standpoint, M'bappé will be acquired in July 2018.

In the meantime, PSG will try to

- develop more revenues. For example, the sponsor Emirates will be replaced.
- ask Nike to increase his financial contribution
- sell players: Lucas Moura, Krychowiak, Di Maria and Draxler are likely to move by end of JUly 2018

Also, end of contract for Ben Arfa next season (he earns 5 millions per year).

Signing Neymar alone would have boosted your revenue I'm sure. More people, especially, Brazil and South Americans would start watching PSG now. Like I said, PSG are doing nothing wrong. It's just that FFP has not been implemented properly.

The deal is done for sure but will be made official later.

Also, you have to know that Monaco and PSG are discussing now about... Fabinho

What about his crazy wages

Yes if the club escapes a sanction.

They're offloading players, meaning their eage bill will increase but should still be manageable for this season. It's next season, when Mbappé new contract kicks in that they'll have more problems imho

Only if you consider that FFP is supposed to limit PSG's spending.

If PSG don't win the CL this season or at least make a final they have to consider this season a failure. I think losing to Real in the final narrowly is the bare minimum they should achieve plus winning Ligue un
