Graham Hunter on the radio saying Koke is almost a composite of all the good things you could take from La Liga. This is in response to our apparent interest.

Funny, Hunter was making the point that Spanish players do tend to adapt to the PL well. Seemed to think Koke would be the same.

Well maybe Hunter knows more about Koke than I do but I'm skeptical that he'd travel well. We'd be taking a massive risk bringing him over here imo.
I thought he had a £16m release clause? Haven't seen enough of him to really judge his quality but I wouldn't have thought 16m is a massive gamble, or at least it shouldn't be for a club like us. We were apparently willing to spend over 20m on Herrera, I wonder how Koke compares with him?
I think we'd be better letting another club take the risk of brining Koke into the UK. Much less risky for us if we get Koke off someone we know without having to deal with swapping countries etc.

Overpriced at €20m which is his release clause apparently? Are we now looking at €5m players solely or is it 1996 again? €20m is nothing in this market, he's already proven himself in Spain so if it doesn't work out we'll still be able to sell him on for a good price.

I like what I've heard about him, Koke jokes aside. I'd prefer if we spent the money here than getting ripped off for Herrera. It's likely to be a better investment in the long run.

I'd love it if we signed either of them, koke would seem a more realistic price then Herrera though. Think he'd be great for us actually. Doubt we'll really go for him as it would seem too logical.
