3-2 up
More and more like real deal! Looking forward to seeing he leads them to promotion.0-2 down after 15 minutes against a strong-ish Wolves side. Back level before HT.

Well, he has been doing well since he joined them. The thing is that he seems able to keep breaking the expectations one by one. We all know how Wolf plays. It’s amazing really.Sounds like he’s doing well.
This is fecking impressive!3-2 up
Given we struggled against Wolves what you’re telling me is we’d lose to Ipswich.Knocked out Wolves after being 2-0 down. Two wins in a row against teams that played PL last season. With mostly players who played League One last season.
Some goal for the winner too
+ they apparently pretty much had their 2nd string out

I wonder how Williams is doing. Totally forgot he's there.
He's been one of their weakest players actually. Had a good game tonight though.
I hope he sees out the season with Ipswich as I can see the likes of Luton, Sheffield Utd and possibly Southampton looking at him.
Wow.
Not sure about that. Every coach is aware their reputation can turn in a dime. It depends if he privately thinks he’s getting this team to perform way above their level or if he thinks they can do a lot better, if it’s the former I reckon a job where there’s a lot more spending power will be highly appealing. Getting promotion with then would be an excellent achievement but it’s such a long gruelling season in the championship.I doubt he'd leave to manage any of those clubs, never mind mid season. Ipswich are on a different trajectory to those teams currently.
Can't see him going City, was involved in our first team and is a huge United fan.If Guardiola sticks around long enough, I think he could potentially be seasoned enough for Man City in a few years

Says who? He's hardly got fond memories of his time here. Our fans hated him and he was one of the primary scapegoats during mission "it's everyone but Solskjaer's fault".
Plus, there's hardly an abundance of top level jobs around every summer. If they come for him, he'll go there.
Different times.Brian Kidd? Mark Hughes?
I think it’s because he looks like he’s been in a fight outside a kebab shop the night before the match
Something about him and his game that is endearing. Hope he does well. We'll bloody need it to sell him!

If City offer him the job to replace Pep in a few years, there’s no way he’s saying “Nah you’re alright, I’m a top red”Can't see him going City, was involved in our first team and is a huge United fan.
Not sure if any of those clubs are in a financially better position either. Ipswich have some fairly wealthy owners now who seem prepared to put the money in to help get them back to the top. I think (hope) McKenna see's it as a personal project to get them back into top flight football and historically they are a bigger club than all those mentioned. Not saying he won't move on at some point but it would have to be a significant step up I think for him to consider it.
Was thinking more Soton as they were mentioned and have a bigger name but find themselves in a position where I think they probably need a better manager. Not sure if any of those clubs are in a financially better position either. Was at the game tonight. Don't know whether they'll go up this season but they're comfortably a better side than Luton and Sheffield United.

Also very good academy. I hope, in a way, Cassius is right. I’d like to see as many different teams as possible pushing into the PL rather than the usual names just coming up and down.Southamptons general set-up including wage budgets etc, is still at Prem level, so they could definitely offer him something that we couldn’t. The parachute payment alone for them this year is £40m, that’s more than double our entire turnover!

Are you a Wolves fan? I thought you brought a fair crowd and were quite noisy last night. We played Burnley in a cup competition last season and they were awful, brought about 12 fans.
