This saga slowly turns into a comedy show.

Two days ago, Coach Hecking wishes him all the best at an Award Show even if he might soon not play for them anymore.

Yesterday De Bruyne himself repeats something word for word a reporter dictates ("I will play this season for Wolfsburg"), which according to a speaker of the club he probably did not understand properly in German.

Today his agent makes an angry response to that, stating that there is no decision yet.

It really becomes more clear by the days that De Bruyne wants to leave and his camp might force it. Unfortunately for Wolfsburg, I could see De Bruyne as a Player whose performances might suffer if he is unhappy. On the other hand, this late in the window, his departure would be devastating anyway.

Wolfsburg might be caught in a lose-lose situation no matter what they decide to do.

Yeah, definitely. With yesterday being the sad peak in the whole thing. I've no clue who came up with that 'joke' in the show yesterday, but he should be fired and the host of the show should be fired as well for executing it. It was downright embarrassing and an impossible situation for De Bruyne. I fully understand why Wolfsburg are angry about it, no matter if De Bruyne was fully aware of what he was repeating or not, he shouldn't have been put in that situation. So so stupid.
 
We want a No.10 now that Memphis has confirmed his LW status. Pedros chase has ended by how it looks. Lets Gazump City to the best No.10 in Europe last year?. How many assists was it? haha. Would be an amazing coup.

Actually I think we need a right winger and centre forward more.

We have about 5 number 10s at the club.

I don't think he's worth the so called £50m being touted around. Rather go for Reus.

and a young guy that in the German league has that many assists to his name last season?. of course he is. He has done more than Sterling has and he went for £50million

Isn't Reus more of a LW though, don't want to see Memphis back in #10.

Rooney and Depay can play there.

So no, we do not need another number 10.

Mata (first choice RW)
Fellaini (meh)
Januzaj (looks like he'll be developed there)
Herrera (don't know what's happening with him)
Pereira (another youngster)

There's certainly room for a CAM I think.

what? hahaha. How is Fellaini a No.10?. And Adnan and Perreria are so young that we could mold them into any attacking position across the front.
Rooney is pretty much finished and Depay clearly proves he is at his effective best at LW i.e last night.

Januzaj played there last two games incase you missed it.

Fellaini has played number 10 for most of his Everton career.

This isn't FM. We need to spend on positions that we need. Get a winger in and moving Mata infield would be the best solution.

well the most obvious available winger was Pedro and we have pulled out so I guess Van Gaal thinks it is FM then?

The boss doesn't want to play Mata in the middle, sooo can we drop this now, its not going to happen!

If we don't sign a striker Rooney will be first choice striker. Maybe Louis wants a first choice #10 which there isn't a clear one as of yet.
 
I can't see us snatching him away from City's grasp. Don't even think LVG would be interested. Isn't he a wee bit lazy? Maybe lazy is a little strong, but I read that he isn't much of a tracker?

None of them including De Bruyne is LvG's ideal 10. So it's pretty pointless anyway, why bother?

I agree about De Bruyne, I'm just saying there's room for another #10. I just don't want to believe Muller is the only human being on planet Earth who's ideal.

Who would? I won't be complaining if I win the Euromillions, but since the probability is slim to none I have to have another option for making money, just like we do if a new attacker is really what LVG wants.

Or maybe he is so inclined to have Juan in the line-up, that he would rather have him playing out of position, than not at all.

Our wingers are pretty cack, so that right wing position is totally open, whereas we have several decent #10s.

Explains why he played Depay at 10 instead of Mata.
 
Kevin De Bruyne has made his decision on his future: he will leave Wolfsburg this summer, according to The Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung - a local newspaper in Wolfsburg.

De Bruyne was the subject of a £47m bid from Manchester City earlier this month and the Premier League club remain interested in the former Chelsea man.
 
Going to be awesome for them. Even if Aguero does get injured, the 3 behind him will tear the league up and Bony is no slouch.
 
If City gets him, I think that for the first time they will actually have a good chance of doing well in UCL too. They'll walk the league.
