Agree with this, we of all fans should know how different a second half can be.Hmm, maybe wait and see how it finishes before deciding to sack him?
2-4 Liverpool wouldn't shock me at 90 minutes.

What a difference a few weeks can make.
Liverpool under Klopp haven't been any better than under Brendan. Still can't defend. Score and play really well on occasion then go and get beat off some relegation side. His transfers bar Mane this summer haven't added anything they didn't have. (maybe unfair on Karius as he hasn't played yet).
Changing managers, even attaining a manager like Klopp simply means very little if you continue to do the business you're doing in the summer window. It's been an ongoing theme for years.
Which I agree with to an extent. But you do what you can with what you got first. You look at the players, where they are strong and where they are weak. Individually and as a unit. Collectively, Lallana/Firmy/Coutinho are fantastic against the likes of Utd, Arsenal or Barcelona. But against the likes of Southampton, Burnley, etc, they are the worst unit of football you will ever see. Then to partner them with Sturridge who is a nothing player (think Rooney last season, then think 10x worse). We (well not the other Pool fans on this forum but me certainly) could see this. Saw it last season, saw it preseason, seeing it now.
AND THEN...you look at the transfer window. Once you've got your house in order. Klopp can buy a 100 £100m players but if he is blind to the above then what's the point?
Edit: yes Klavan, Lovren and Hendo have been shit poor today. But I'm looking at where we are strongest...our forwards (Origi on the bench, etc). There Klopp could make educated decisions. There we can judge him. I have judged him. He's not as good a manager as I thought.
It was unusually comfortable for Burnley.
Whats the story with Matip?
Brian Kerr was on a radio commentary fro Today FM and he was saying how he was shocked Liverpool signed Klavan. He came across him when he was Faroe Islands manager. Picked him out at the week link in the build up to a game V Estonia and they pulled off a 2-0 victory.

Edit: Edit: I'm fairly confident we'll beat Spurs. And end with 6 points from 9. But the way it will been done is not my idea of a top 4 finishing side.
Sturridge is an injury prone/heart size of a gnat type, but nothing player? Strange comment
Not sure why you'd be confident of beating Tottenham away. They've finished above you probably 5 out of the last 6 seasons now, 3rd last year etc
Would you have been surprised that a team that could lose to relegation favourites Burnley 2-0 would have beaten Arsenal the week before, with almost the same players?
If Spurs play expansive football...boom...we win. Play bus parked football and we're scatching our heads and picking our arses (and the ball out of our net). That doesn't mean we'll finish above Spurs this season.
Called it. Although not 4-0, it was still an embarrassing defeat. This was typically of Klopp team last season. They tend to play well against top team, but I will not be surprised if they struggle against smaller team this season. Next week, they could still loose 4-0 toMainzBurnley and this victory will be forgotten. They would need to show more consistency then they did last season if they want to challenge for the league title.

Joe Allen was sold to Stoke without being told by his manager. Disgraceful way to treat the Welsh Xavi
"I actually had a text message off a friend congratulating me about making the move when I didn't even know it was happening at the time.
"Not knowing whether the club intend to sell you or keep you, especially when you're trying to ask the question, is disappointing.
"If I'm honest, to find out they accepted an offer through the press isn't the best way of going about business, I don't think," Allen added.
"The communication wasn't great but as soon as Liverpool accepted an offer I knew what their intentions were for me. It was a bit strange but that's how things happen sometimes.
"There was no real goodbye, but I'm not the most sentimental person anyway. It's irrelevant now because sitting here I've got the move I wanted."
If Spurs play their best or even close to their best then your defense will be destroyed. Milner at left back, Mignolet as goalkeeper, Klavan as center back
Unsurprisingly lack of class from Liverpool and Klopp again. What's new?
It's the coutinho disease.Never get why they opt to take ridiculous amounts of shots from way outside the box, especially when opposition defences are penetrable with the players they have.
He's a flop when they lose, and a genius when they win?
This place sometimes...
We had the same defence but with the added spinkle of Morono against Sanchez/Walcott/et al. We conceded as usual but we won.
Liverpool Football club. Different to the other clubs who sold their soul etcJoe Allen was sold to Stoke without being told by his manager. Disgraceful way to treat the Welsh Xavi

He will be auditioned at left back next week after Milner's turnHe still havent got rid of Mignolet?
They were lacking a proper striker Arsenal. Walcott is crap.
It won't be easy against Harry Kane.
We can't all have classy managers like Mourinho. Someone who nobody has ever called a cnut on more than one occasion on these forums in my 15 years on here. Do you live in a glass house Akash? I'd move.
