That is true, and the same goes for many/all of the best teams. We have to remember that Liverpool are not an elite team at all, just look at their line-up! Today we did not play a game suited to the strength of our players, we played to the strength of our manager. I am pretty sure the mood in the dressing room was grim after the match today, certainly no-one would have celebrated a tie without creating even a shot in the second half.
Some teams commit suicide like Arsenal did, but they were just naive and incredibly weak. And also, they are not that good anymore. One point is OK, but looking ahead to City, Chelsea and Spurs - I don’t think it’s going to be much different. Imagine playing City today, we would have lost so hard with that line-up.
