Jude Bellingham | Real Madrid player

CAMAVINGA isn't a starter for Madrid? Good joke. He's been a starter since January.

When you look at how well he has started in one of the highest pressure environments in sports, it’s hard not to think he’ll be among the worlds best for a while.

It's just unbelievable how the Bundesliga defense brigade hijacks every thread in this forum where there is even the slightest connection to German football.

The mere fact that there is no rivalry among German fans makes the league boring. Bayern and Dortmund fans allied.

From now on, instead of "Bundesliga", can we just write "best league in the world" to have a chance of being left alone by them?

This is a virtual forum.

I've seen some people here praise City and Liverpool adventures in the UCL cause that makes PL best european league with the best coaches (Pep and Klopp)...while in the real world United fans don't care about what these 2 clubs do in Europe.

Nobody cares about reputation of a league in the real world, it's all internet banter.

He will help us win the euros.

He probably wont, you know why? because he is another English midfielder in a long line of midfielders who's main attribute is scoring. We just cant seem to regularly produce the Rodris, Verrati or Jorginho types of players who main attribute is keeping the ball and setting the tempo. But these all action midfielders are our bread and butter really.

We will probably meet a Spain/Italy or even a Croatia and get passed of the pitch...again.

Yeah he hasn't proven enough at this point except potentially being a good goal scoring mid like Dele Alli with potential to become a Lampard or Gerrard.

The hype he's getting is as if he's England's answer to Zidane, Modric, Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Riquelme, Thiago, Verratti etc. We'll see if he gets there.

Can't Maddison set tempo? Mount, Bellingham, Maddison, Rice, that's a pretty good midfield right there.

Not in the sense of being a holding/deep lying playmaker. Mount, Bellingham and Maddison essentially play the same role, just different interpretations of it. So the point still stands.

At this rate he'll end up as la Liga's top scorer.

What a career he's having. How long ago is it that he was at Birmingham? Feels like yesterday.

What kind of 20 year old comes from the Bundesliga and becomes the most decisive player in Real Madrid? Crazy

I’m just glad he’ll make world cups and euros interesting for us.

Generational player. Hopefully he'll lead England to some sort of trophy.

He'll win the Balon D'or within the next three years.

He's incredible. Hats off to Ancelotti as well, ge's using him perfectly. Could become Di Stefano reincarnated for Madrid.

Good start but we can’t expect him to keep this up. Kept grabbing his knee and I’m scared he’ll be running on fumes soon enough.

Haven't watched any Madrid games this season yet but how has his all round game been? His goals haven't been amazing but showing an sharp instinct in his early days which is good to see.

It would help if we selected the right midfield. Seen several pun dits mentioning the ideal midfield due to DeBruynes injury and Fodens performance as if it is a lightbulb moment. It should have been our midfield at the world cup.

Appreciate that in terms of building from the back possesion wise it may not be the best, but Rice/Bellingham/Foden does have a great balane to it and would be a match for any side....yet we have had Henderson/Phillips/Mount all as main players in our midfield the last few years its a joke....it isnt the same level as these are players still with a lot of progression to go, but it remeinds me of the Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes conundrum.......was always obvious, Gerrard and Scholes should have been the best partnership in international football at the time....never happened, Bellingham and FOden in a different system of course have a similar potential internationally

Was hoping United would break the bank for him following the Euros not only is he true world class potential and a potential generational talent hes also a born leader and future captain of any side he goes to.

English players rarely play outside England. Why isn't this guy playing in England?

It’s quite a unique situation where England’s best player and their most promising player are both playing for foreign clubs. Can’t recall that ever being the case before.

Yep, England needs a regista badly.
When was the last time they produced one? Late-career Scholes, perhaps?
But wasn't he retired for England at that stage anyway...What a shame.

Who was that guy for France when he won it?

He will become the best midfielder in the world very soon, and he is only 20!

Besides scoring having a good presence in the box to poach on goals is he really elite or on his way to becoming elite as a midfielder in terms of ball carrying, retention and passing. I'm not sure he is.
