Jude Bellingham | Real Madrid player

How's his brother looking by the way? Can't watch the championship where I live

Sold to Sunderland as the lad wanted game time and we have other academy lads ahead of him so couldn’t give him what he wanted so he requested to move is his old coaches now at Sunderland. Like Jude, best move for his development. He’s a 10. He’s not far of big bro at 17, and a million miles ahead of other 17 year olds, so don’t rule him out.

Dayum son. Never this regular a goalscorer at Dortmund. I suppose his best role was always as a number 10, similar to Gerrard at Pool who really exploded to another level when he had Xabi and Mascherano behind him.

Man that's so classic

Miss watching him in the BL already :(

He is so, so brilliant.

I like that Ancelotti has seen his talent and basically just put him near to goal and said "go and do damage".

Please keep saving our ass. Thanks

Might have to put some money on him becoming top scorer in La Liga while the odds are still astronomically high. He's already immortal in Madrid.

He reminds me a bit of Yaya when on the ball.

What a signing!
Haven't actually watched any of Madrids matches this season, how is his overall game despite the goals?

Good, he is very direct and has been creating chances as well. Relentless engine, doing dirty work all over the pitch. Been our best and most important player of the season so far.

It would be unfair for us to expect him to keep this up, but man do we need it. Also very mature and really leads the team.

Would be a hard to act to follow in becoming the best British player to play for Madrid (Bale) but he surely has a good shot at becoming the best ever English player for you?

Would have loved United to sign him but I think he is at the best place possible with all things considered.

How is it a hard act? Bale was good but he was hardly what everyone expected him to be when he first made the move. He should end up being the best British player when it’s all said and done.

Too early days to say. Bale had a fantastic first season. Not only with G+A but also his overall game. Subsequent seasons his output was still good but his game wasn’t good. Certainly not like his first season. He did have great impact in big games like the CL finals. But he also lost his spot in like his third season or so and we all know what happened after that.

Either way, Bellingham has a fantastic start and hopefully he keeps it up. The potential is there at least. But who knows. Injuries, suspensions and formation changes can all have an impact. Bale had a better team around him no doubt.

Bale was a great player, a starter, and a key player in the only team to win 3 UCLs in a row... His last seasons were poor and made people remember him as a worse player, but that's another story.

I think it's too soon to talk about how Bellingham is going to rank in Madrid's history, he has been impressive though.

Was wondering if he was playing a more advanced role as 5 goals in 4 games (i think) is pretty ridiculous for a new player who isn't a striker.

Only because the format was called differently before.

If we were a properly run club this is the type of player we should be signing, he is a generational talent, Imagine a midfield of Casemiro, Bellingham, and Bruno, unbelievable, thanks for everything Avram....

I'm just glad he didn't join a PL team.

He never would have joined us, he's a tier above our side at the moment and he knows it.

Thank God, he didn't go to Liverpool. I reckon us stopping them from getting CL football played a part in that although it's very hard to say no to Madrid.

Unfortunately for the likes of Cruyff and Beckenbauer, real football didn't start until the 90s, so those threepeats don't count.
Well, I didn't mean it as that, I just meant it as people don't credit Bale enough as a key player in Real Madrid's last decade's success because of his last few seasons and put the example that he was a starter in Madrid's threepeat.

Err...half the forum was calling him overrated. But you've got the blame in the right place, Glazers have fecked us.

Has he turned into a second striker or something? What's that now, 5 goals in 4 games?

He seems to be playing a bit of a free role and definitely has license to get forward as much as he wants but he is still actually doing quite a lot behind the ball too.

Astounding player.

Thought he would struggle, but wow what a start.

His performances at Madrid makes me think Sancho is better than we think. Maybe it's United that is the problem.

It’s not just the goals. But his creativity, the way he beats players and makes them look stupid, a bit like Redondo used to. Not really dribbling but touches and flicks the ball past and round players.

His deft passes into space that lead to players getting through on goal. His crosses. His work rate.

Then when you add the goals. It becomes even more amazing.

Was hoping United would break the bank for him following the Euros not only is he true world class potential and a potential generational talent hes also a born leader and future captain of any side he goes to.
At United a lot of his great passes will go to waste. He’ll do a deft pass into a tight open space. But the winger/fb or CF won’t make the run. Fans would just end up thinking it was a bad pass

Sancho is brilliantly talented and what he did in Germany is far too often invalidated by some.

I do think that their personalities make a lot of the difference though. For lack of a better expression I think Bellingham has the attitude of showing up anywhere and slamming his nuts on a table and wanting to make himself the main man. I think Jadon has lacked a bit of that so far here.

Levels and some are excited over Amrabat. Just shows United have come down a few notches alongside the expectations. I however didn't think Jude would hit the ground running to the extent he has.

Absolutely insane comment. Bale scored the winner in not one but two champions league finals. Scored an iconic goal to win the Copa del rey final. Not to mention how electric that front three of Cristiano, Benzema and Bale was.

Bale left more of an impact on football than most players ever.
