Actually Nostradamus
Sunday league Berbatov.
It’s when you realize he is a two speed battered old lorry. He hasn't hit third gear yet, but if he pick up his physical and mental fitness he could be a decent squad player for us.
Ighalo wasn't a better player but Weghorst offered more to the side with his workrate.Weghorst and Ighalo were both better. He's bad.
He just isn’t. Not by a long stretchhe is truly horrific,
I thought he was good tonight. He clearly isn’t a no.9 - but he’s decent in tight spaces linking up the play, he’s good at holding up the ball and bringing in other attackers. He worked hard and complements our wide players. Given time to settle more I think he’ll prove to be an asset.
He has 2 assists in 3 games! He must be doing something right.Fair play for your opinion but really don't agree. He was really poor in tight spaces, he lost the ball the majority of the times he received it once pressure was put on him.
He had about 3 good moments in a game where he saw a lot of the ball. When I say good moments, I mean he completed a meaningful pass, into a player in space, moments almost any player in the team would be capable of doing.
He hasn't looked up to it in any of the games he's played for us to date.
Again you're entitled to your opinion and can huff on the copium. The thing he's meant to excel in i.e holding up the ball and bringing others in to play, he barely managed tonight. I'd love to see the possession turn over stats for tonight's game, he will undoubtedly be our worst performing player in that regard. He just isn’t. Not by a long stretch
For me, it's crazy how many are completely ignoring this. His self-belief is on the floor; his descent from the player he started out as is clear as day. He needs a coach(es) who can really get into his head constructively and aid him with these teething problems. At the moment, he looks overwhelmed by most of what is going on - especially the pace and intensity of everything - and looks like the type whose head then drops, which makes him look lazy and indifferent.Feel bad for him, his confidence looks shot.
Ten hag definitely isn't the guy fill him with confidence. Let's see how Amorim does. For me, it's crazy how many are completely ignoring this. He's a much better player than he's showing of late, but if he doesn't get his nerves back under him, he'll not get much time here.
