Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Anyones available if Roman pays the compo.

Wonder why Messi isn't a Chelsea player then.

Simeone has just recently signed until 2020. You think he's going to "hand in a transfer request" to the club of his life where he is worshipped like a God because Roman offers a couple millions more?

While I can't stand his antics, I want to see them stick with him and go after the players, who are the ones who have downed tools and made this season so bad for them.

It happened with Moyes, and it's now happening to Mourinho, and while it was understandable with Moyes considering his lack of pedigree, it's another thing given that Mourinho has won the lot and just won a league title with the same bunch of players last season.

This is prob the strangest thing i've ever witnessed in football in terms of decline (up there with van gaal having barcelona in relegation zone at christmas probably haha)

Going to be really interesting to see how this plays out, fergie said in his last interview that mou will get top 4 100%, i was just as confident before today...

As a conspiracy theorist I can't believe that it's all a coincidence. Must be more to this story than we're likely to find out.

Chelsea will get top four like us last season mainly due to the fact Liverpool and Spurs are shite.

we matched chelsea's form from november to march. Then lost it a little at end. Chelsea are capable of that but they have stronger competition in spurs liverpool and west ham, especially west ham. I really think they can be a surprise this season.

Think both Liverpool and Spurs will finish above West Ham.

Mourinho edges ever closer to the sack while Arsenal could end the weekend top.

Chickens coming home to roost for Jose. It's very enjoyable to watch. Who knew relying on the dark arts as a management style wouldn't be good for long term stability...

Can't see them sacking him, unless they are going to get Ancelotti back then I am struggling to think of anyone available, no top managers would jump ship at this stage of the season.

Unless Mourinho wants to go (which I suppose is possible) then they should should stick by their man.

I don't think simeone would flat out ignore an offer from any top european club, but there's a better chance of it happening in the summer though.

Danny Dyer of all people trolls Mour now during the game too...Cant quite make out what he says though..

"Stone the fackin' crows, apples n' pears, my old man's a dustbin; it's yer West 'Ammmmm, innit? Cor blimey Mrs Jones, how's your Bert's lumbago?"

We all know that the title is gone for them now and probably has been for a few weeks. But when do we reach the point that top 4 is beyond them?

It's looking like its going to be an up and down season and really competitive right to the end. That could work either way for Chelsea. If they get their act together soon it means they still aren't that far away from top 4. But on the other hand it means every single game is going to be tough and that makes it really difficult to go on a run.

The way it's going for them I just can't see where results are going to come from. It's not like they've failed to win games during this team but even that hasn't been a spring board to better things.

Something must've happened during pre season, you don't go from being champions to being awful the following season.

Pre-season?

Somethings been happening every week for the last 2 months!

8 points off 4th and 11 points off top. United have closed a 12 point gap before so its not impossible. Certainly not likely though considering the way we are playing. Top 4 is well within our reach though and should be minimum for this season.

Perhaps it's slowly dawned on the players that, even if they run through walls for him, he'll have no hesitation in throwing them under the bus if his reputation is suffering.

Totally different, when Louis van Gaal first got sacked from Barcelona it was because despite winning the championship two seasons in a row, he didn't win it for a third season only finishing second and he only got to the semi finals of the champions league.

After two seasons passed Barcelona were in a bit of a mess when he returned finishing 4th the season before, he did well in the champions league that season winning 10 straight matches (2 in qualifiers, 6 in first group phase, 2 straight in second group phase before leaving) and this equalled the club's record of straight wins in the champions league.

As you mentioned his performances in the league were poor that season but with the club 12th he left by mutual consent, he wasn't happy either because he felt the players at his disposal weren't able to play the way he wanted, he said they were too dim.

The situations are completely different though because this Chelsea team challenged in the first season for Mourinho, won the league convincingly in his second season and now in the third they have done worse than Louis van Gaal's start last season and LvG's start was much worse than Moyes.

It's just bizarre.

Well, we did under Moyes, but then again, completely different circumstances

Mouhrino is a weird character. Any club he coaches he brings immediate success but whatever he does seems to not be sustainable. I wonder if Roman keeps his word and keeps on backing him in all this

You're crazy if you think he's going to get sacked any time soon. Certainly not during the season. I think even if he finishes 8th he'll stay.
